    Set a time (8am etc) and then take Hinna for walk. After a while she will start waking you up for her morning walk

      Haha so Eric was actually walking her in the morning when we first got her but he had to m force her out of her crate cos she didn’t want to get out that early. After trying to get her to go out for morning walks for about a week we realized she didn’t like it so we gave up

    Hi Kim! For the skirt something I love to do when they're too big is sew a simple elastic on the back! You sew an elastic on the back waist band while stretching the elastic tight using a zig-zag stitch and when you let it go it'll ruche in

    How to wake up early - schedule something in the morning that you enjoy doing.
    Maybe a new hobby, a pottery class, painting class. Or a sport that you enjoy. Maybe a team sport, so you'll meet new people. Or learning a new skill or language or an activity with Hina.
    You can schedule 4 different things for 4 days a week for example. Then it won't get boring either. And some activities might be available for free too.

    I understand that it feels like the whole day has already gone, but if this sleeping schedule fits your brain so that you are not stressed etc. I think there is nothing wrong with it inherently. If you try to change it and changing the schedule becomes very hard, it could be better to learn to appreciate it as it is. I feel like in today's world, everyone is expected to wake up at a specific time etc. but for some people different times fit better. Just food for thought, nothing else.

    I also have ADHD and empathize with the sleep schedule. Once I gave myself a treat to look forward to in the morning, it would motivate me to get up. Things like an episode of a show/CZcams video, or a special treat with my coffee. But it did start with my Nespresso machine and looking forward to coffee. Hope that helps!

    Hina is just so absolutely adorable. I love watching her tricks. Beyond cute. As far as a way to wake up, perhaps place an alarm clock far enough away from the bed so you must walk over to it to shut it off? Perhaps you'll be less likely to lay back down and fall asleep? Incorporate a morning routine so that once you are up, you'll have something to keep you busy, like preparing something for Hina. Only other thing I can think of.. Get a black cat. As owner of one I can tell you, they don't ask you to get up in the morning, they demand it. Over and over and.. Sorry, I know I'm not much help lol.

      I tried that but problem is I’m such a heavy sleeper that even if I get up I fall back asleep so easily haha. Hina is sooo lazy that at times when I’m up early she still doesn’t get out of bed until 11 😅

    Kim tysm for vlogmas this year! Is really enjoyable to watch but please look after your health too 💗
    Sounds cliche but in order to wake up early you have to start by going to bed early the night before...
    That said, something that helped me become a morning person is setting strict meal hours (not always possible but I do when I can)
    My routine:
    Wake up 6 am
    By 7 am I've had breakfast
    Go about your day ~ eating lunch and snacks as needed lol
    Have dinner no later than 7 pm (I have a medical condition so at night I need to have a 12 hr~ break from food and at least 3 hours of digestion before going to bed)
    Get in bed at 10 pm and wake up the next day at 6 am and start again
    Shift the hours to fit your preferred wake-up time, hope this helps!

      Yeah I really want to wake up earlier so I think that’s my New Year’s resolution. I sleep so late everyday and I know it’s something I have to change. I have trouble sleeping early but I’m wondering if I get melatonin tablets if they might help

    I sleep in too! I’ve also been trying to wake at a normal time and get stuff done. What I’ve been doing is I make myself get out of bed before touching my phone or iPad. I use playing on my iPad as a reward. I usually empty the dishwasher while I make a coffee. Then I greet and feed my Guinea pigs. Then before you know it you’re doing a few chores. Then I bring my iPad to the living room so I don’t lay back down.

    I'm like you when i don't work or have only business to do in the evening. I wake up at 11am or after 😅😅
    Tips :
    Plan your morning step by step like.
    Going to the bathroom. Drinking a glass of water. Having 10min of stretching. Breakfast with things you like eating / healthy stuff you will be proud to eat. Then activities for yourself. Reading. Writing in your diary. Gratitudes. Meditation.
    And don't forget to add something you love to do in the morning like making a coffee or playing but in a limited time.
    Also add the least task you wanna do for exemple cleaning something. So it's done in the morning 🙏😁 I hope it helps.
    Also writing down the morning routine and following it like a elementary school kid would help so much.

    I have a PT who has told me to not have any electronics on or near the bed, he said that if we have them close by we will not want to move or get up.
    One of the best ways to wake up early and actually get up is to set an alarm for an early time but not to have the alarm close by:) so you have to get out of bed to shut it off.
    Once you are out of bed don't go sit or lay back down on the bed.
    It's a pain sometimes but it does work.

    Sorry, for the comments, if you stayed up late try to make some vegetable juice blend for you in a day.
    Set a schedule for yourself and Hina wake early morning and take Hina out and do exercises together. Do that 4-5 time a week. You don’t want Hina “ Hikikomori”.
    By the way, Your udon soup needs some vegetables ( greens).

    Getting exposure to morning light (before 10am) should help with regulating your circadian rhythm and melatonin production. Maybe go for little morning walks and make it a new routine?
    Also going to bed around 10 pm might help, esp. if you avoid blue lights an hour or two before going to bed.
    Also try to get a sense of when and for long your body wants to sleep. It might be a little more/earlier in winter and a little less/later in summer. For example, I know eight hours (usually around 10pm) is just right for me, but sometimes in winter my body wants a little longer.
    Also, where did you get that top you wore to the tea mocktail event? It's so pretty and unique! :)

    Really enjoying Vlogmas! 🎄 You have trained Hina so well, she’s absolutely adorable. The tea mocktail making looked amazing, so unique! 💕
    My suggestion for sleep would be to try and go to bed half an hour earlier each night until you can make it a regular pattern and your body clock adjusts. Then aim to be in bed by 10pm each night. It will be easier to wake earlier if you go to bed earlier and at the same time each night. I’ve bought myself a Sleep headband with inbuilt Bluetooth speakers so I can listen to rain sounds and brown noise and it goes over your eyes to block out light. I go to sleep so much quicker now.     Make sure to get to bed earlier so you still get enough sleep, it can take a while to be able to sleep earlier, but do not give up. Then set 2 alarms, so you won't fall asleep again after the first. Good luck!

    Get a vibrating alarm clock and/or one that is really loud. I'm hearing impaired so I can't hear an alarm but I have a small vibrating alarm clock that I put under my pillow. I can feel that, so I wake up.

    I know how you feel. I woke up around 5:50 am to go to work every day. I don’t want to wake up either but I tell myself that I gotta wake up. I don’t know if this will help or not, but all you have to think is “wake up Kim. Let’s go for a walk. The morning fresh air will wake me up” 😅 good luck Kim! You Can Do It!!!!✌🏻

      Haha yeah if I do have to wake up early for an appointment/meeting I can do it. But if I have nothing on and only have to work for myself that day then I wake up late 😅

    As someone who also has ADHD I have to say the irregular sleep is connected to that from what I have learnt, but it can be worked around, like putting your phone in another room or far enough away that you have to get out of bed to get it will help to stop with the morning scrolling, with going to sleep I find that I just go when I know I’m tired otherwise I just lie there awake anyway so trying to force yourself to sleep earlier is pointless. One tip I have heard as well is that if you get natural light from being outside not through glass half an hour after waking it works with your circadian rhythm which will help with your sleep schedule, so take Hina out for a walk half an hour after you have woken up and you will start to naturally wake at that time. Hope this helps.

      Ah yeah that might help. I don’t see the sun much so that probably adds to it. I bought a new light that mimics sunlight so I hope that will help me wake up. Yeah I only go to bed if I’m tired, if I’m not then I know I’m just going to lie down there for hours

    It may just be ur normal natural cercadien rhythm. Dont be so hard on urself honey. Its good to sleep as much as u can. B4 i became disabled, i never slept enough. Thats probably why i got hurt so badly. Dont fight sleep. U will not sleep well after ur 50s. So sleep while you can my dear. Trust me.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    Can totally relate to having a lazy dog haha mine just sleeps all day too sometimes makes me feel guilty when she doesn't want to go out in the cold for walks. Can't wait for winter to be over. 😅

      Hahah right my dog is so lazy that I was worried. All she does is sleep all day so I asked the vet if anything is wrong with her. The vet told me “a sleepy dog is a happy dog” so I guess she’s just lazy 😅 if I don’t take her out for a walk when it’s her walk time she does remind me so she’s always up for going out.. just not early in the morning 😅 i know a lot of crazy Shibas but mine is lazy af, but I’m not complaining haha

      Ah ok! To Odaiba we got lazy and took a taxi since it’s a bit annoying to get to, but trains it really depends on where you are staying. Google maps will tell you the price. The restaurant I think it was maybe 4000yen a person but we had way too much food haha. Round 1 I only spent maybe 500yen on some games, I don’t play crane games cos I suck at them 😅

    I don’t have an option our Loki also a shib he wants to go out for walkies as soon as he hears movement upstairs and the first thing I would have to do is walk him. Just get yourself in the routine to walk her in the morning that might help you got a goal to get out of bed then ☺️

    Who feeds Hina first thing? Or takes her out to relieve herself? Maybe if that was your job it would give you the incentive to get your day going? My cat gets me up around six to be fed.OR..get a sunlight lamp that might stimulate your brain to realise its daytime!

      Hina only eats 1 meal a day for dinner. We tried to feed her breakfast but she just doesn’t have an appetite in the morning and leaves her food. She used to eat lunch but as she got older she would leave her food so now we just feed her 1 meal a day. I’m in charge of Hina going to the toilet but she doesn’t go until around 10-11am. I tried to make her go earlier but she refuses to go 🥲 Eric is a morning person but even when he’s up she doesn’t get out of bed.

    One tip to wake up early is to have kids. No matter what time I go to bed, 2-3am, always need to wake up before 7am,
    Before kids you could sleep in until midday.

    What a steal getting Ralph & Burberry clothes at that price….. I have a few Burberry Flannel long sleeve shirts bought like 8-10yrs ago …I was shocked seeing their prices now … I don’t remember paying so much 😅

    ADHD and chronic fatigue are related. Also, when you watch an ADHD brain play video games, it’s the same affect as crack cocaine on the brain. It makes it race! Change your gaming schedule to earlier in the day, perhaps in the am?

      It’s really expensive, last time I fixed a skirt it cost 4000yen, 8 times more than what I paid for the skirt

      Because it’s expensive. I took a skirt to get fixed and it cost me 4000yen, 8 times more than what the skirt cost
