Awesome video! As an old school YGO player I was somewhat lost on all of the new and more complex rules.
Then I bought three of the DW structure deck and I’m interested in getting back into the TCG.
Originally I played back when Joey Wheeler and Seto Kaiba decks were released and ever since then I’ve dipped my hands into other TCGs like MTG and Poke and Flesh and Blood.
When it comes to TCGs I honestly love to play and collect.
I’ve subscribed and I’ll be watching more of your videos, thanks for the deck tech as well.
I picked these up a couple days ago and it’s probably the most fun I’ve had trying a new deck in a while, they synergize nicely with knightmares too since they’re fiends that discard
Only dangers can activate their effect if discarded by knightmare

@@FoxTCG dark world must be discarded by card effect, knightmates discard for cost. That's why they work with dangers but not knightmare

I just got this deck on a whim, and came accords your video! I’m a straight beginner but I play Pokémon TCG so I think I should be alright.
How long will I be able to play this deck? IE 3 months, 6 months, a year etc. it seems super cool and I want to learn to enjoy it
Bro, 1 week at most if ur not spending TIME and MONEY to get the investments for the comolete deck.
But if ur juts gonna use the budget build, 5-7days n you’ll know the deck off the top of ur head.
So I Like to understand the different aspects of cards and I know Dark World monsters never miss timing when discarded, and I know any effect behind a semi-colon.
Edit: just wondering if discarding a Dark World monster from Dark World Accession, does that trigger their effects. And if so, does that miss timing
You banish your fusion material then it also allows you to discard extra material which essentially is used to get more dark world effects activated, as for the banished cards unless you use genta as material they wont activate
3 ceruli is WAY better, lets say you have 3 silva in your deck and 3 ceruli, if you do the right combo, your opponent start with 0 cards, its way too op and just in general, ceruli discard effect is op for dark world second effect by the opponent discard

About Dark World Accession, I under stand it that if a monster is moved from it activation location before it effect goes off then it does not work under the new master rules.
EG: play Dark World Accession, discard cards, banish them and summon. Discard effect does not go off as the discard card has been banished before it effect could activate.

Accession wouldn't have you discarding a card and then banishing that same card, it's either banish the stuff that's already in grave or discard your hand, but it's not one THEN the other. You're right about timing though, if you paid the cost to activate something by discarding Broww, and someone chained DD Crow on Broww in the GY, he wouldn't get the chance to hit grave and activate for you to draw. Luckily nothing in Dark World sends for cost except for the Counter trap which your opponent can't respond to anyway.
Am I missing something here? Snoww doesn't do anything if it's discarded on it's own it only gets it's effect when discarded by an opponents effect
Snoww let's you search a dark world if discarded
Dark World effects are written weird.
They will first say "If this card is discarded by a card effect:" and then immediately follow that with "If this card is discarded by an opponent's card effect, you can...;" making you think they only work if discarded by the opponent.
But yes, if Snoww is discarded you get the RotA effect regardless. You only get the extra Special Summon if discarded by the opponent.
Funny enough I play cards like Zalamander Catalyzer, Tour guide and Doomdog octhros in my Dark World deck because Catalyzer has a discard effect to special summon which can help with the Dark World monsters and with Tour guide, I can use her to summon out Doomdog and then link the 2 for Mudcracker which will trigger Doomdog in the grave to search for Grapha or Overking-Reign Beaux. Curious to see what you'll have in mind for the full fledge build D.A.D!
I don't know the exact effect of catalyzer, but if it's discard is a cost it will not trigger the dark world cards due to it being a cost not an effect. Maybe not a relevant comment but just in case it is lol
Catalyzer isn't a cost so it does trigger the dark world effects

If you dont want to play dangers,you can try a small branded engine(or punk etc)
