The purpose of this deck is for shadow work. These cards depict the "negative" aspect of what the card generally represents. If looking at tarot through this lens is new to you, I would suggest purchasing the separate shadow work booklet here: lamucidesign.com/product/shad.... There are also lots of other resources you can utilize. A quick Google search will point you in the right direction.

Yes, I do use it! I pull a card and make that my theme for the month for shadow work. Hi! It comes with a small guidebook for the cards but there is a separate book specifically for shadow work available for purchase.
