Stunning Coastal Hike From Castro Urdiales To Laredo - 28km On Camino Del Norte 4K | Hike the Camino

Join me on a breathtaking 28-km hike along the Camino del Norte from Castro Urdiales to Laredo. Today's trek challenged us with a 740m elevation gain and rewarded us with spectacular sea cliff views.
We also had the unique opportunity to stay at a nunnery in Laredo, a peaceful retreat after a long walk. Experience Northern Spain's stunning landscapes and cultural richness in this detailed 4K vlog. Don't miss the beautiful beach at Laredo-wish we had more time to enjoy it!
Along the way, we saw some amazing sea cliff views. We stayed at the nunnery in Laredo, a very worthwhile place to overnight. Laredo has a beautiful big beach, and it would be great if we could swim there.

Mmmm, looks like I managed to do an extra 6 km’s & 100m of elevation when I did this stage in May? It was beautiful, but hard & I didn’t need the extra distance that day!😂

I tried to avoid this as much as possible, although it was not always possible. You never know what you might miss when you choose a seemingly easier route. Today's route for us was perfect as I really enjoyed flying the drone over the cliffs. The heat did not help the degree of difficulty either. I understand why people start their days in the dark, but this is not for me. You miss half the camino in the dark.🤣
