@@maddywood4315 not really £4 a bag. Actually a fiver a bag and around £7 for shavings. I'm not made of money but when mucking out I want it quicker and easier rather than taking half an hour instead of 3 minutes.
You must be REALLY lazy if you think that's "pratting about?" That was simply first laying down the bed. After that, you don't really need to do more than skipping out and occasionally adding a new bag to the bed. It's actually cheaper than using shavings and better for the horse's respiratory system.
@@vikingsong2068 If it's lazy to want t do things the easy way rather than making things unnecessarily difficult them I'm lazy. Luckily for lazy me, my ponies live out all year. On the odd wet days I want to keep them in, I use sawdust which is dust extracted and very absorbent, topped with shredded cardboard, also very absorbent.
I did it with Stodoys.
seems like a lot of pratting about. Much easier to buy sawdust bales, take to stable, slit wrapper and tip out. No messing with water.
