- Hey all! Yet another look at Defa Lucy’s origin doll, Brittany, from Mexico!
I also feature one of my OOAK Defa Lucys that I made, never thinking I’d ever be able to obtain the black doll with microbraids!

Oh my……. Thank you!! That brightened my day, and it’s been a rough one! I appreciate the kindness today, as I’ve been taking care of my sick little MaisieLynn, and it’s been hectic! I needed this pick me up! ❤️❤️❤️
Personally, I would unbox her so you can enjoy her to the fullest! She's different enough to become her own character in your stories. I never kept my toys/dolls in box and I never regretted it. Sure, some of my Monster High would've been worth a lot now, but it's hard to guess which playline dolls gain value over time. I truly enjoyed redressing and posing them, observing the details of their faceups, shoes, outfits... I feel like I would've missed all that visual & tactile experience if I would've left them in box. Each person is different, though! A friend of mine keeps some of her dolls in box and finds that shelf much easier to dust!

ah, so they're the same afer all. I have my suspicions but it's kinda hard to find any info at all. I like them but unfortunately, I can' afford them at the moment even though they're cheap.

I have the braided doll and her rooting pattern is not very good, I would recommend leave her in box and use your custom
I would be keeping her in the box, and use your custom as the model. Why devalue the doll, just in case you do need to resell for whatever reason. If yours wasn't as good, it might have been a different story.
Thank you for the kind compliment on my custom!! I think you’re right about keeping the original boxed, because I see her becoming so rare, especially here in the US, but it’s hard because I’m a natural unboxer! 😆
@@thatdollguy813 I know what you mean, but I have been lucky when I controlled myself and reaped the benefits, especially when something I really wanted, I needed to cash a few dolls in. Sometimes our taste changes and it easier to let go.
