I'm to shy to take my reborn on a outing I never did that before😔🙄 any tips on how you can find more confidence in yourself to take your reborn on a outing?🙄😐
Don’t be scared be open to it you might get stares but it’s your hobby and you love it. It doesn’t matter what other people think it’s what you think if you like reborn and want to take them out then do it. Just take them on a walk as a first outing then maybe to a store and you can cover you baby at anytime so no one thinks it’s a doll.
Yes I am sometimes scared to go out with my reborn but after I get my confidence Boost I am ready to go out
The easiest way to start is to take them with you to your friends or extended family, since you know them, it will be easier than having strangers all around you. If all goes well, move onto a small store that you don't intend on staying at for very long, then the longer you can stay in a smaller store, the easier it will get so you can move on to a bigger store or event. Just don't try doing more than you feel comfortable with and having someone like a friend or family member that is also into the hobby helps especially early on.
I took my toddler reborn out to find some shoes and almost nobody even looked at me til I reached checkout and the few that did walk up to me were friendly and didn't try making me feel bad about having a reborn with me. Yet I started with just my extended family and that helped me feel better about taking them out to stores.

I went to the store with my reborn and every one said to me that it was cute and nice doll and nice comments so it’s not that bad

Some/ most reborn channels are required to say if their channels are “made for kids/ family friendly” because our channels CAN be for kids (even though reborns are for adults) CZcams disables their comments! I haven’t been monetized yet so I haven’t had to do that yet and I’m hoping they will allow me to keep my comments!
It may be due to constant hate comments that cause some channels to disable comments. Yet most reborn related channels I do watch don't disable the comments.

Well clearly its not old for me to take my reborn out if shes an adult and does but mine is a cloth body from ashton drake but she isn't as realistic and plus I only have a joovy carseat do you think I would get wierd stares or smiled at? Im 12 btw so, just dont wanna make it seem like im 12 and playing with the walmart baby dolls :(

edited: hey guys! or whoever is reading this comment. so, I wanna start a youtube channel about reborns and im probably gonna have the same kind of videos Layla has on this channel but I need some advice, I want to get my new reborn stuff like clothes binky's, diapers, etc. pretty much everything you see on normal reborn channels but I feel like my fam will think im weird because im care so much for this baby but also because im spending my money on something that's not real even though I really wanna get this baby stuff and have a reborn and stuff like that, leave me a comment saying if u think I should do what I want and get the baby what I want and stuff or just get the baby and not have anything for it along with the fact that I won't be happy because it's not what I wanted. ( plz help me make this decision!)
