Oh my gosh!!! “We need the 6x6…Oh, wait…” Haha. I never thought I’d see that thing buried. Not only once, BUT TWICE, in one video. Mrs Osta’s laugh the first burial reminded me of a little kid getting into mischief. Lol. Those holes are nasty and just suck everything down! I’ll have to find the continuation video to see how everything turned out at the end of the day.
I finally moved to my dream home/location. I purchased just over 200 acres of land. Spent spring/summer/fall (2018) cutting trails....had a lot of help from friends. As well as opening up and flattening land too. All so I could take an ATV out and camping etc. I just purchased my first ATV (Honda 420 Rancher IRS/ESP) for the wife and I got a Polaris 850. We can't stop using these machines. We've already swap out the crappy skid protector (1/2" polymer) for thick aluminum plates, as well as the A arms and CV boots protectors all in good aluminum. And sure we'll add stuff as needed. But didn't know ATVing is so much fun. I've always wanted an ATV but we resided in the suburbs of major cities due to my job. About 7 years ago we located a nice place to retire to. And concentrated on having our house built and then furnishing it with new stuff. Hence by time 4/2018 came around we were ready to tackle other things. Like get a new puppy and train it. And thenn took almost a year getting the exterior of the property. That is 3 acres of flat wipe open area as the backyard per se. And then working on trails for hiking, motorbikes and ATVs. Excavators do so much work in a short time period and was able to rent one and it's operator many times to make nice trails. The dog (a red Dobie, female,...Abby) loves the chase us from behind on the trails when riding our ATV's. Just a great and addicting, as well as expensive but fun Hobby. Sorry for long post, but I love watching your vids.

With 10 feet of line out on winch, it probably wouldn't even be pulling half its rating. More line off the drum equals more torque.... Awesome vid

Wow, looked like a drama filled adventure. Starting with a ECU flashing in the rain before the ride on a brand new machine, then getting stuck and break the biggest machine ( 6x6 ) Looks like you had a good time with friends! Skeg looked pretty deceiving in parts. Definitely use the snatch block more, doubles the pulling power. Makes me wonder how far back did you guys make it before having to turn around
Been there and done that buddy! Them tracks do have their limits. I've ripped the bearings right out the hub turning on grass with the rear diff on my sxs left locked in. Lots of force on those bearings and A-arms with them tracks!
Yes for sure. Although I have been lucky. Been running tracks in mud and skeg for a long time without too much issue
@@ostacruiser I did notice that and have been very impressed. I ran the Tatou 4S and they don't seem as robust.
I like watching the ones that you guys are going up Hills and it gives you like a hard time with lots of rocks and all that I like that stuff it's cool right back bro

I have always been a can am dude I will never get a Polaris don't trust them my mate owned a Polaris rsr and it kept breaking down so he brought a can am commander and he has had no problems since
You need to go by experience and get rid of that "old" 6x6 and get the new 6x6 450T with 30" and make it a double dually!
Luckily you have your mechanic with you, Jarret needs a 6x6 with a big toolbox on the rear, just sayin and perhaps one of those skeg winch anchors?
Daaamn, that is not a good day, I would leave the tracks at home. But they are great for winter time. Great video though, I always get a kick out of this guy Giggles all the time.

I wonder about the shape of the scoops on the wheels - I guess the whole purpose is to create good cleaning effect, however it probably digs deep very fast...
I have never rode in muskeg but I have had my share of Louisiana gumbo mud. Getting stuck constantly to me is no fun. Spending your day going 300 yd and getting stuck sucks. I would rather ride more and get stuck less. That's just my opinion. You boys have alot of money in those toys. I wonder how much the repairs cost after a day like that.
