What about the people who suffer from real debilitating pain and never took the pills to get high but to get rid of the physical pain and don’t abuse the drugs the news really doesn’t talk about that this isn’t a one size fits all not everyone is gonna die from pain medication not everyone can just take OTC medication for their pain all the cdc did in 2016 was cause people to commit suicide or convert to other drugs that’s causing more harm than good I agree these medications called opioids/opiates aren’t for everybody they are for people who have surgery or have cancer or serious illnesses and these drugs aren’t supposed to be used for mental health issues
👍
I am a chronic pain patient, and my pain is not under control, it's hard to get the dosages I need because of the ppl who abuse the drugs. I lost an uncle to heroin od. I would give him clothes, food, a place to sleep but I wouldn't give him money because I knew it would go to the drugs. I understand how addiction can destroy a family. But it is the addict's choice to abuse the drugs, the chronic pain patients do not abuse the drugs and the addict's are making it hard for our legitimate pain to be properly treated
I don't understand getting high off of them
I took them for pain chronic 21:10

Exactly all this hysteria has affected those of us who really need our meds and function due to them..I’m able to provide because of them and be a member of society
My father got me into methamphetamine and crack cocaine at 16 I don't know how it happened. I eventually quit and then he introduced me to morphine Dilaudid and Percocet I signed my death warrant that day. I spent 20 years trying to get clean and I have been clean or the past six years.
A completely ruined my life and I became homeless for years and finally live in government housing but I'm unable to work. It's catch 22
What kind of a father do you have? He should have been jailed
Iv had opiate addiction for 28 years if lost friends,,it dont make u a bad person it's just we made bad decisions,,,,I'm sorry for your loss

The people that get addicted to that euphorical feeling....
After a short time it’s not about that. Opiates turn off the pain preceptors in the brain and your body stops making its own version of that “blocker.” You stop taking them and you are always in pain all over your body.
It's more than that. Say you get injured and are put on the opioids for more than 3 days, dependency and full blown addition can set in very quickly. Your brain loves the dopamine rush, it becomes addicted to it and even when the pain is gone, it will mimic the pain to get the drugs. It is the only disease that tells you that you do not have a disease so it can get the drugs, hereby saying, you are not addicted it just takes the pain away.
The reason why so many people get addicted to it and so many people don't is the people that become addicted are the ones that have experienced trauma at birth and that means they have been injected synthetic hormones at birth to speed up the mother's labor so the doctor can catch his plane on time.... So when they inject the synthetic hormone into the mother's IV bag it gets to the baby and then the mother's body stops producing the natural hormone and then that baby spends the rest of his life trying to feel that euphoric feeling and then you introduce an opioid and that's it that's that feeling of love that was taken away at birth.... Because what goes on at birth between a mother and a child is what they call"the love cocktail"..... So when they inject the synthetic hormones into the mother's IV bag it interrupts what the baby's receiving and now the baby is receiving a synthetic hormone....... So that's why some people you know they welcome that euphoric feeling because it was taking away from them at birth and they don't realize it the mothers don't realize it... big pharma... Knows all about it and that's why they produce these sort of medications because they know that people will become addicted they know that they'll start putting up methadone clinics and everybody's going to be working and doctors and nurses who went to school and paid their education to serve the evil pharma will be working all at the expense of an innocent life..... For example during the pandemic my daughter had a baby in the hospital I told her not to have a baby in the hospital they will separate you from your family and nobody will be able to advocate for you.... While we waited in the parking lot because we were not allowed in the hospital.... They administered fentanyl into her IV bag.... And then 20 minutes later they said oh the baby's heartbeat is dangerously low we are going to have to do a C-section... $$$$$$$$which is more money for the hospital and the doctor and the anestheologist...... My daughter was totally healthy gained minimal weight was very healthy all through her pregnancy.....
As a mom of a sixteen year old in high school I've watched enough of these videos to educate myself and i will never say not my child.
We need a huge outreach program in highschools to educate of the dangers of fentynel
I have 2 grandsons ages 20 and 14. I am so worried that they will be drawn into addiction. I have had a conversation with both of them. Most of the time its6hard to get them off their phones long enough to have a serious conversation. I hope I got through to them😢
Keep having those talks. Show them these videos. Tell them have a few beers with Grandma instead. Today's drug scene is the worst ever. Good luck.
the more you talk about it the more they are interested in it
Family video on weekend television
Narcan in every household every car

The thing is what if someone is in severe and complex pain and if they arent on any pain relief it would be hell for them
And their Doctor prescribes them pain meds what are they going to do suffer
Exactly what I just now wrote - I’m in Australia and a long term prescribed opiate patient for severe chronic pain.
So terrifying though that oxygen thieves are putting fentanyl in other “fake” pills -and KILLING kids thinking they’re just taking something for pain/anxiety/study reasons 😢
If you have pain and turn to a doctor or shrink. You can have a addiction for life just after a few pills. Loose everything you have addicted and be on the street and homeless. Leading a life of crime literally doing anything all to get high over and over. Pain rarely will kill you but lifelong addiction will usually kill someone.
I've had pain before so bad I puked 5 times but I won't take any pharma. Because I know pharma is truly a killer and a terrorist. Pain will eventually ease up. I've seen enough become addicted for life and a lot already have died all starting from pharma and trusting doctors!
Teaching kids a sport that can lead to traumatic injury and pain isnt a kindness.
Thete seem to be so many kids injured at school that end up addicted . Cant we find sports that dont leave kids so smashed apart and in need of opiates ?
@@bobjary9382 In short, no.
“ we are not are kid’s friends “👏🏽👏🏽
You progress to death. My sister in law was using but I didn't know it. It started with pain meds after her back surgery and it led to her death. God bless her soul. She left 3 children behind, her youngest had just turned 9.
Write , a letter , to bedain , to close the southern border !
God bless you for sharing this. I am so sorry. I know many grandparents who are raising the children of these Fentanyl deaths of their parents.
Im so sorry 😢
Tragic. Who knows who could get addicted to these highly addictive, dangerous drugs. Today's drug scene is not like when I grew up. Just have a few drinks instead. People please take care and be safe.
Alcohol can become dangerous too 😢
I’ve lived in Port Charlotte 2yrs…and now I know what is scaring me. Thank you! ❤️💐🙏
Great job Everyone!!
BARC is great resource and the staff are empathetic and professional. My daughter was there.
This lady said the doctor didn't know Oxycontin addicted and killed! Wrong, doctors know and can be held accountable in a court of law for murder! If someone sold drugs on the street that killed they would be charged for murder. Why are doctors and shrinks mostly exempt???
…what is needed is a pain~killer that is not addictive and not deadly….
Well its still addictive but not deadly… kratom!!!
I find it kinda weird that this opioid thing is an American exclusive problem I wonder if Americans have different kind of pain from other countries or their just used to things being so easily accessible and easy cause why is it not ravaging the rest of the world
@@sasantipe It's raging in Canada and Australia as well. In Australia, it's easy for patients to doctor shop and get RX's for fentanyl patches.
@dr.nug7103 Yes sir. That stuff works great
The OPMS BRAND WORKS THE BEST. GREEN STRAIN Give you a little more energy than red. Red is more for pain. But Kratom keeps you from getting very sick. If you were to run out of meds. Or someone stole them. (YOUR MEDS) NO SHITS NO PUKING. And its a plant. And they are trying to ban that too. Because of big pharma wants you to take suboxone or equivalent. Yes you can get addicted. But withdrawal is nowhere near opioids. Jsmo Good luck folks
Crazy so worried about this
“Our children are not our friends.”
Why do some people get addicted to hydrocodone and then there's people like me that have never gotten addicted and I have taken for over 20 years
Mom will go above and beyond to save and protect their children. This is crazy.
What’s with that stupid music overlay .
❗️ Whether it’s a pain patient, a person who has taken too much called Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) or on the street drug use. They all need a medical based oversight program. These decisions should not be made by politicians who have no medical expertise. They need to be made by physicians and patients.
…oh please…how many of those kids will listen to a health alert?
She is a great mom ... happy woman day
Lord have mercy 🙏
The photos of Kyle show the quintessential, clean cut, all-American young man. His mom is savvy & the family took all the right steps to prevent an O.D. His death never should have happened.
This is the type of reporting that gets the Fentanyl contamination issue thru to people, and can save lives. Bravo, NBC south Florida!
You know that taking down such large hauls of drugs must be taking out the governments competition...that's why the streets are still filled with it...the government making money to support ukraine
Well ultimately it comes from the doctors..... Volume and codeine and percocet and all those things have been affecting families for years years..... My dad died from it so I'm just saying it's been going on for a long time my dad was 58 when he died but he was extremely addicted to code Cain and volume and his doctor kept prescribing it kept prescribing it I couldn't understand why and the thing is it makes you feel worse after and when my mom was in the hospital they were giving her morphine and I said no and they kept giving my mother morphine and it only lasts 20 minutes you know what I mean and I'm thinking why would you give somebody this drug when it only lasts 20 minutes and it's highly addictive well I'll tell you why because once your mother gets out of the hospital now she's going to have to go to a rehab center and now they're going to make even more money.... So you got three shifts of nurses.... And I tell the nurse put it in the notes that they're not to give my mother this morphine.... And then I show up in the evening shift and I see my mom's a little loopy.... And they gave her morphine and then the nurse says oh I'm so sorry I didn't see the notes....
Amen
U know more than a doctor working in a hospital, but u can't even figure out how to download a profile picture on u tube😂
Just say your mom is allergic to morphine and there's a red sticker on chart for allergy
AS LONG AS ITS EASIER TO OBTAIN THAN MAINTENANCE MEDS ITS GONNA CONTINUE TO GET WORSE
ONE SIDED BLURRING THE LINE BETWEEN PAIN MEDS AND STREET JUNKIE ADDICTION!!!
Now everyone has to go to the streets
Sponsored by who? Opiates give chronic pain patients back our lives. WE ARE NOT ADDICTS!
yes you are and overweight also.
you wouldnt be in chronic pain if you lost weight
@@user-ii2uh1xq7bhas nothing to do w weight..I’m 5’2 and 115lbs and was in a bad car accident that completely ruined my back, neck and shoulder..so please don’t make judgements because u don’t know the extent of people’s illnesses..I’m small and deal w chronic pain..size doesn’t matter..
Exactly, only the weak minded feel the need to abuse their medications. It’s because of these losers us pain patients struggle to get our medication.
This is a government problem, this is a moneymaker for the government. They're making money and people are dying. Stop making the drug. Stop making the drug. PERIOD
Somehow this makes the most sense. Just stop production.
What are you talking about? You sound like you’re the stupidest person in the world stop making what drug you don’t know what you’re talking about
Much llove
Opioids are great
They sell the best mushroom 🍄, dmt, lsd, microdosing kit and other
psychedelic products🍄. They ship to all locations
We don’t know if we are going to get addicted until we take these drugs. It can be any of us.
No Only the weak minded.
Real sufferers of botched spinal surgeries, such as myself, should not be penalized for the imprudence of addicts. I was forced to change countries so that i could get the relief I need, and now live a pretty normal life. One grows accustomed to the correct prescribed amount. If one does not have an addictive personality, it is only medicine. Severe surgery induced neuropathic pain is no joke, trust me. It is astounding that with today's advancements, honest practitioners cannot tell the difference between addiction and need. As usual, politics interferes with science.
19:41
No, they are not 70% addictive. I worked in pain management and addiction medicine for decades and a chronic pain and cancer patient for over 40 years.
are you for real?
They dang sure are addicting
Go back to school
Outlaw sports this child was in pain due to sports
Well some of them ahem American football are notoriously dangerous.
So is soccer, cheerleading, horseback riding, etc.@@cruisepaige
Heroin and other opioids has always been a whites choices of drugs.

Why bring up race?
just like those crackheads eh?? ha, if only life was as simplistic as you.x
Yes that's true. The blacks love crack
Actually it has increased in the black non-hispanic population 38% from 2018-2019.
Searching thru you're kid's room says right there the relationship has been damaged. If you have do a jail style shake down, digging through your kid's dresser drawers, reading their diary etc., you have already failed as a parent. Your kid will automatically hide things from you, because you have betrayed their trust by violating their privacy. Only a good parent will make their child feel safe to tell them anything, maintaining a solid bond of trust. If kid's feel safe telling you anything~ you stay in their circle, if you betray their trust~ you are now the outsider (not to be trusted).
While I get the jist of your comment, the nature of drugs is secretive, for the addicted youth, they hide this secret so that they can satisfy their drug addiction, or alcohol addiction. If I told you how many conversations we had about drugs and the dangers prior to his beginning this horrible path...we had examples in our family and friends. Most kids that start using drugs without an injury usually have either a diagnosed or un-diagnosed co-existing brain disorder such as anxiety, depression, etc. They feel a DIS-EASE in their bodies and want to feel better, hence the beginning of self-medicating. No kid is ever gonna tell you the truth when they are trying to hide something. There is a reason they are hiding it, usually it is out of pure shame. Believe me or not, we tried everything but there is no manual for this. Only judgment from people who don't know this life. So, please don't say those things above if you want to help a family. They are living in hell on earth and need all the support they can get.
My parents did that, I have a good relationship with my mom. I think it's necessary if the child is exhibiting signs of drug use and addiction.
Every time a doctor prescribes an opiate he gets a kickback and a bonus..... That's how they pay off that expensive college education
That is not true. LOL! Besides doctors go to medical school.
It is TRUE ! DO SOME RESEARCH
It wasn't a issue when it was just black people.
Fet-nole? It’s Fen-tan-yl. 3 syllables, phonetic. Why do people hillbilly this word?
😂 that's what I thought as well
Fen-ta-nyl.thank you😊
