the rift reminds me of Entrana in Runescape - you're not allowed to bring almost anything when you go to that island. no weapons, runes, armor, etc

Hmm, not off the top of my head, I dont think they've changed anything major in the rift, just bugfixes. Only thing I can think of is just AH being more grindy because more people are on there spending their motes.
