Spruce on point once again. Yesterday I was getting annoyed that in tight formation my streaks and corner routes weren’t working and all he was running was cover 3 all game..but this time im prepared 😏
I use a very similar concept. The "comeback" route doesn't always hold the outside cornerback. Your deep crosser has to be a fast WR or the defense needs to be pressing. I know the Goose already knows this, this is just a small tip for other casual players who think this is a flawless technique. It'll only work 100% of the time if you learn to watch for the correct "read-keys": Cover 3 and press.
@@Aka_GodSpeednah if this was a normal cover three it’s the backside corners job to cover that and not let anything get behind him, after that receiver broke he should’ve high tailed it back to see if there was a route over the middle
@@Aka_GodSpeedon cover 3 the safety on the right side would leave the comeback route alone. That play would get covered easily. 3 defenders covering deep vs 2 wr’s. That’s easily defendable.

You can beat any coverage just by looking at the defense, and changing the routes for the players, same thing with run plays, look at the defense, and move a player based off that. I do wish they’d allow more than one movement amongst offensive players tho.
Cover 4 Palms set DE to flats. You should already be disguising your defense so when they see you come out woth 2 safeties your still in cover 3 or you can audible to cover 2 or man without changing the way your defense looks
you can get the same effect by using your tight end on a slant or drag route and make you top receiver do a streak the crossing of receivers and tight end confuses the MLB or safety in coverage #1 or #2 receivers usually break open for a long gain
Lol that okay in NFL Blitz is called Da Bomb and it is a very explosive play lol. The OG NFL Blitz may be the best football game ever created and retro bowl isn’t far behind if either lol

I do. Adjust coverage underneath (basically plays like Cov3 Hard Flat), shift LB's opposite to the bunch, bait the seam with a LB. They always want Seams.
I think this is cap personally i remember in madden 21 they fixed deep third logic to play those deep post routes. there still is bomb plays out there but i think that its only specific plays you can do it from. like i remember the adjustment to stop cover 3 bombs in madden 20 was to deep half your cb and ever sence madden on next gen ive only made that adjustment maybe 15 times at the most. or is it a possibility that the pass rush is more lethal now
Not sure how it's cap when I literally show it in the video. However, you are correct that the improved pass rush makes these Cover 3 bombs not worth attempting in most cases.
@@SpruceGooseTV Yeah theres a high possibillity that the zones are as broken as they were in the past but they just made KOs more prominient and pass rush more aggresive to compensate for the fact zones are trash. also escape artist qbs are pretty much dead which were the main reasons why you were able to throw those bombs to begin with and im not saying i play high level madden players but i do play a lot of madden and this year i think the average player is more tough and more knowledgeable example being that i see tons of people audibling from formations yeah sure in the past ive seen people use money plays ect thats not new but ive never seen it to that degree to where they are audibling to new formations ect and i still rarely see one play tds

If u roll out right and touch pass triangle and aim up field u don't have to do all that.
This is why I love post cross and close pa cross
But if you run cover 3 Sky you won’t have that option
