Hi! I noticed you don’t add the extend gel and then cure it on the natural nail. Would you suggest skipping that step and just applying the nail? Beautiful work by the way! ❤️
So you really have to get to know your client. I didn't add it to her nail because she's very cacreful with her nails and knows how to take very well care for them. Now if it was a client that was more rough then I typically would add the extend gel on their nails.

Can you use regular nail polish and then a gel top coat to finish it off instead of gel polish and gel top coat? :)
Yep you just have to make sure the regular polish is completely dried before adding a gel top coat and it will be fine. If the polish isn’t dried all the way it will wrinkle underneath the gel curing. 😊
What did you use to attach the butterflies And make them stick?
I used a base gel and then encapsulated it with hard gel
Did you cure it before you put the clear gel on top of the butterfly? And why you didn’t use a clear coat instead?
Yes I did and because I needed a thicker gel
Consistency to light encap the butterfly
Do you prefer Gel X Over acrylic?
I really don't have a preference because I like doing both but my clients do prefer gel-x over acrylics. Although I do like that gel-x is much faster.

her set lasted over a month. I also so acrylics but majority of my clients prefer gel-x
