Thanks for the tutorial, for those who were wondering how to randomize notes without Autoplay, you can drop an Arpeggiator, a Random and a Scale MIDI effects before Vital. I personally add a little bit of Ping Pong Delay as well, and even a Gate.
    Hope that'll be useful.

Kudos for the insightful five-star full-screen BS-free tutorial without the relatively-useless, distracting and often annoying talking head, daftly smushed into some section of the screen (as if it might be as much about narcissism and/or cult-of-personality) and competing with Vital(/etc.) and we students' attention and patience.

not really, but you can import the wavetable into serum from vital

    • @MuteProduction

yes up to a point. it sounds different though. you can tell serum to resample a band pass sweep and get that squelching easily but the inharmonic stretch is not available in serum

when i make it, it doesn't sound like how it does in the beginning of your video, is this because i dont use autoplay? or did you add other things outside of the video. i want to make it only using free plugins

    • @MuteProduction

are you randomizing the velocity? all autoplay is doing is randomly generating midi notes with random velocity.

    • @Jeffozorus

@@hippiemonk13 You can reach the same result by placing : Arpeggiator, Random and Scale before Vital.
