    You and Rudnik are GREAT together. Whatever insecurities you may be feeling, he will willing go along with you, because you saved him from an existence of terror. You are the hero in this story, but he is the beneficiary. Great job!

    It’s like parenting, you can’t always do what’s fun. Sometimes you have to parent and do the hard things but it’s what’s for the best of the one you love❤

    The “Clever Cowgirl” CZcams horsewoman (she’s also a vet tech, etc) said the sugar content in the grass in lowest in the morning, so she lets her sensitive animals graze then. It’s worst in the late morning/afternoon.
    All of your horses look like easy keepers.❤

      Yes! This is true. It can be quite interesting to learn how the sugars change in the grass and once you figure it out, it can definitely be a way to help stay ontop of their diets better! 🥰

      And I do only just have Rudnik, the one horse. The others belong to the other boarders here but I agree they are all easy keepers haha

    Get him a buddy. And there is nothing better than a nickered greeting from a horse. Except . I love you from a child.

    I’ve never had a horse so I have a question. Why does he need to be in the dry pen? I may have missed the video where you explained it.
    Thanks. ☺️

    • @rudniktheroan
      @rudniktheroan  Před 5 dny +2

      He’s currently overweight and being on grass 24/7 wouldn’t allow him to lose the weight he has to. His stomach has no off switch 😂 so being in the dry pen he’s given rationed amounts of hay every day (ontop of exercise) until I can get his weight down to a healthier level. Then he can go back out to pasture 😊
