Roscoe, Ian said that this video in particular was really difficult to shoot because he thought he was gonna switch, therefore he scheduled to do the music video. However, he didn't switch, so all the video is Ian instead of Mito. But it should be Mito. Hoje it helped :)

Just some facts about Bipolar some of the medicine used to "treat" this disorder have the colour purple and its commonly known as Blueberrys also the ribbon that represents Biploar day is black and white stripes, Christian never mentioned these things in any of his lives but it makes sense 😊
Ooh that is fascianting. Thanks for sharing. His medicine bottles seem to be always orange in the videos. And I am still wondering about the orange yellowish colours (which aren't Mito nor Insanity), which we only really see much here or in the limbo video
And the black and white stripes work so well in the Insanity video with the Beetlejuice inspired look
I think the 'Scaredy cat' is actually Mito. You can see hints that mito is the one singing (the eye being white in multiple scenes, black and white reflections and animations etc)
Symbol the " All Seeing Eye", the Eye of Horus represents well-being, healing, and protection. There are different images of it. He has the one with the triangle. Many use it in medallions to ward off diseases and illnesses.
If I remember correctly, Ian said Scaredy Cat is an alter of Mito in an interview.
My theory relates to the order of the songs on the album... Dope Lover - when he was newly in a relationship; No Blueberries - in the relationship, but his disorders cause confusion, anger, and hurt; Nerves - she left and he's trying to cope; Scaredy Cat - scared of losing his mind, exposing his disorders, and damaging his relationships again.
Did you notice he recently published his own playlist with a totally new order to all his songs? I wonder what that's about

I love the fact the ian never looks at the camera during the video
Now knowing he has DID explains the character(s? cause of the multi-frames) being "locked away" in the clost (subconscious?) much better
Also, a detail I noticed is that the straight jacket person is next to the shirt from No Blueberries
Here's what Ian said about the song's concept in his documentary:
"Scaredy Cat was a song that was inspired by my fear and my fear of everything almost... to have tis other character that's living inside of Mito, you know, the one that's always scared but curious. And I'm sure you've heard of the term 'curiosity killed the cat'. So that's essentially what it is."
And he also mentioned somehwere that Mito is like all disorders wrapped into one and making him into some sort of powerful dark superhero. So essentially, I would think that it would be Ian's perspective in this song and Mito would be the protector from all the dark things (but also what Ian used to be afraid of and is reconciling with in "Welcome to the show")
Another thing that I find pretty interesting is the outfit. it's really similar to the peanut butter and tears outfit, we have also the same microphone as in pbt( also appears in welcome to the show ). When you are quick you actually see slightly green light shining on one of his eyes. He sings on the table like in no blueberries , the floor has also the same pattern. You will see this black and white " chess board " imagery a lot. Be it the ground or part of outfit , etc. What else 🤔 ahh the corridor with the doors plays a huge part into Story lore sometimes it looks like certain memories are hiding behind them, sometimes it looks like alters are behind and another times it looks like creatures from the other side were unleashed and are trying to come for Ian. Then one hand dancebmove = similar to cl 5star,as well as Rose scene . What Image sparked my eyes Was thenone where it almost looks like a dead body next to the stairs. Do you know those white floor paintings police does after a crime scene. We also see him with flowers laying down on the table which gave me the feeling of someone who passes away and is lying in a cave and people put flowers on it. Which makes me also think of the scene in don't go insane where he wakes up from a grave as if he was buried alive. We see also a close up of someone who has a tape on his mouth. So here comes the interesting part: 1) we saw ian being kidnapped in 1shot, 2) in no blueberries DPR live sings : yo mito pass me the tape. Don't make me shoot. I am a vibey villain and mi amor yeah she knows that. She's in love with me and that's a drug in dangerous doses. Is this a reference to dope lovers? And which tape are we taking about The? The tape to cover one's mouth or " The Tape" = 📹 video tape ( we saw in nerves someone recording) that contains maybe memories that ian hasn't yet access too. It's like ian , mito and insanity are all present in this "hotel". It feels like ian is slowly dipping and the altars are coming out. We see mktos reflection in one scene when Ian sings which makes me think mito took over and in another scene we see Ian in the jacket which says mito and has the eye drawings but ian sees his own reflection in the mirror this time. Almost like Mito saying: sorry I am going to take over your body now something smells fishy here I don't like what is about to happen. it lookes like insanity was here too. Maybe mood// Doom is about to happen? Limbo before it goes don't go insane ?
Damn, you really did a deep dive. Those observations are so cool! I had always wondered about the scene when he was lying with the flowers on the table like at a burial.
Other connections I saw are the orange pill bottles as seen in no Blueberries and Miito Movie Part 1. The symmetrical lamps in front of patterened wallpaper also reoccur in many videos (like the Miito Movie).
What I think is that Insanity kinda used Ian as a setup to lure Mito out (Miito movie) and the Blueberry Monster used to be the green/blue man that Insanity has as a sidekick but he also became this monstrous figure like Insanity became this blind god-like creature.
And the corridor and door imagery all play back to the doors Ian wasn't supposed to open as a kid (PBT) but still did, resulting in losing his sanity and creating Mr Insanity.

This song is one of my favorites. The disappearing in a hole part always hits me hard because I feel just like that when I am having break downs.

I rewatched all of Ian's videos just to do my own analysis, and something I had never paid attention to is the "news" before each MV (for example, Scaredy Cat takes place 6 years after No Blueberries, where Mito loses his eye and there is a murder)
Ian says that there is all his fear, his loneliness, depression, etc., they are like trapped feelings, at the end of every myth he is always watching him, that's why there is one of the Ians who has a white eye and spies on him through the mirrors, an Ian Tied up with the straitjacket that has eyes drawn on it, at the end Mito appears.
Ian mentions that Mito always arrives at his most vulnerable moment.
I think it’s Insanity, because how he acts, however there is Mito in parts where black and white appears. Also with the smashed mirror and at the end. Switching. The one running away ofc is Ian but looks like the one in charge in this one is Insanity. Also Mito is the one in white (more fancy look).
This was a great deep dive. So much to unpack.
