I've been wanting to 100% games for this channel for a while, just haven't been sure how to go about it til now! Hoping to continue refining and improving on the format in the future. Al, You should 100% Voodoo Vince. One of my favorite games, pretty funny, and not hard to collect everything.
I got a challenge for you. A true 100 percent challenge. Fossil fighters champions. 100 percenting what the game has without dlc is already painful. But my challenge basically makes it where you have to get 5 of every vivisaur. 4 for the wonderous fossils, and 1 for the miraculous fossil. I call it “fossil fighters world champion”

The main reason that people probably don't like this game is how they were supposed to add in deleted content like a 3rd phase for Robo-Spongebob and Robo-Squidward into the main game, but instead it got put in the side multiplayer mode
No it sucks because the controls don't match the GameCube controller and it's glitchy as hell and I clipped through the floor 8 times in 5 minutes and the physics are off and the sound design is weird
@@mikeax24 i think most the bugs they fixed since then ive beaten this remake 4 times post launch and havent fallen through the floor and i dont think the sound design is werid as it just the PS2 games original audio
It's kinda sad tbh, that the exact same unused content ended up being unused AGAIN, and not only that but this is the second SponegeBob game that would've made absolute bank had it not been rushed by Nickelodeon to match a stupid deadline for a movie, with the first one being Truth or Square for the Wii
One thing I noticed is that the last world and Boss in Cosmic Shake are sort of an apology in that regard
It's just not a fun game
Honestly love this format. No waiting weeks to finish watching a walkthrough. Just 3 hours of the funny monkey man.
This is indeed a good and funny format for videos. I love it when someone's just doing some unscripted riffing.
My only major disappointment with the Remake was the fact that the cut content that they had promised that would make a return didn't actually end up returning in the way that we had wanted them to be re-added into the main game, instead just being repurposed into the new multiplayer mode.
Especially since there have been evidences that the team was working on adding the cut content to the way they were originally designed before I'm assuming time constraints once again prevented them from being included. (Which is funny to think about, that they wanted this game to be out in time for that Sponge on the Run movie despite the movie having no relation to the game whatsoever, and then covid came and the movie had to be delayed anyway, so they were supposedly crunching for nothing.)
But despite that, the remake is still a great way to play the game for those who didn't get to play it on GC, PS2, or Xbox back then.
6:21 In the original game, he says that one singular time when you go in the attic. I made a review back in 2020 about why I thought this remake failed in a number of ways, but again, it’s been a while since I made that. Still, give it a watch if you wanna hear my critiques.

I still remember this rehydrated game was released on my birthday AND the same day we got the Neither Update in Minecraft. I have a copy on the Switch and I lent it to my older sister so she could play it. I remember all of use collectively pointing out that Mr. Krabbs isn’t voiced by Clancy Brown. Good times, I ought to give it a try again myself. I can’t believe I never made the “Aww! I got dead again! This game stinks!” joke.
Seeing your take on 100% a game is funny and good. I would love to see it continue with games like Dark Souls.

I think for me, it's the visuals that kind of soiled Rehydrated. In isolation, it's a wonderful looking game. But I do feel like there was some kind of charm that got lost in translation from the original game's presentation, especially during the cutscenes. The animation in Rehydrated's cutscenes feel more rigid and less expressive than in the original's. Thankfully they managed to get that rectified in Cosmic Shake.

Amazing video as always uncle Al, your humor definitely fits here. I love the cuts too, makes the whole 3 hours entertaining as hell. Also, if you haven’t decided yet I think you’d love to 100% Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. It has collectibles and real fun gameplay!

I love this direction for the channel, as a completionist myself I'll definitely be watching whenever I can! Good game to start too. You don't have to but I hope you'll take game requests for this is the future, I'd recommend tryna 100% Little Nightmares if you haven't already. If you haven't played it in general, it'd be a great experience- Any horror games really lol

The lip-syncing is a common bug that occurs when you tab out during the intro, sometimes it does it even if you don't tab out haha.

Oh man, I’m about to the spend four days to watch a whole uncle Al video 🗣️🔥🔥( I absolutely love it.)
This video encouraged me to get back into the game (corrupted computer hdd/lost progress) and shoot for the last achievement I needed (all socks). Such a fun game. ALSO I STILL NEED TO TRY THAT ONLINE MULTIPLAYER SQUIDWARD BOSS! EDIT: Finished the vid. I recommend for sanity sake not also 100%ing the old school battle for bikini bottom (unless there are a bunch of funny mods added to keep you sane).

The reason I don’t like the remake as much as the og(I still enjoy the remake)is mainly the movement,it just feels much slower compared to the og,something I feel cosmic shake improved on a lot!

Spongebob BFBB Was my PS2 jam!!! And Rehydrated was a trip to my childhood!
Though as much as loved the remake, they could have done more to make it a new experience.
It sounds like they ripped the voice lines and soundtrack straight from the original; when they could have rerecorded voices and given the music some new life

I was (and am) a massive fan of the original and have 100%ed it myself, but I've never had the inclination to pick up rehydrated. I personally am just not a fan of the extremely bright colors, I like the more muted palette of the PS2 version. Loved the video though, will be sure to watch more! (and I know you want to do 100%s but I'd love to see you play the Super Mario RPG remake)

This video was a great time, if I had any suggestions for games to play 100% (or just in general) next one would be A Hat In Time! It’s a similar type of platformer to BFBB, and I think you’d fall in love with it if you haven’t played the game already.

Personally, and i might be in the majority, but i think this kinda content is good but better as a smaller more edited down type of video. Maybe 30 mins to an hour. Then for people who want the full, maybe just upload the whole thing elsewhere or in a hidden playlist with a link in the description. 3 hours is pretty brutal even if i love my al content
I may still have longer videos like this one moving forward, but I definitely think I could have trimmed it down a bit more in some places. Probably gonna have a little bit of a learning curve to work around with these videos. Appreciate the feedback!
