    The first time we visited Tunisia it was great. Will definitely be going back.
    We stayed at Marhaba Royal Salem Hotel in Tunisia Sousse on an all inclusive basis. We went for two weeks. It was a brilliant hotel and the food was awesome, The staff were friendly. Had an outdoor and indoor pool. The facilities at the hotel were good.
    If you need any details about the hotel feel free to comment on the video.

    Hi, just have a couple questions. 1. What times is it for the food? 2. Is there any activities you have to pay extra for and how much are they usually. 3. Is there any time limits for the swimming pools as they look great fun. Very much enjoyed the video and hope you can get back to me 😊😊😊

      Hi,
      Happy to help where I can.
      1) The food is breakfast in the morning, then they have lunch and Dinner. Times vary as when we went it was still considered off peak winter times, now it's the start of the summer season so the times will be different and the outdoor cafe and restaurant should be open. The winter times are in the video.
      2) They have daily activities that are free such as archery, swimming, Gym classes, water sports, basketball, tennis and children's club, and more stuff.
      They have mini golf but unsure if that's payable, was closed when we went.
      3) No time limits in the pool no need to book, it has a sauna, steam room, pool and gym.
      The outdoor pool should now be open but best to call the hotel to double check.
      Thanks, hope this helps.

    Hi,
    Loving the video! We are going to be staying here in 2 weeks time and have a few questions.
    1) My wife is pregnant so do you recommend any places to visit closeby via walking distance and places to go that is friendly for pregnant women? We can take the taxi if needed.
    2) Do a lot of places accept contactless card payments or is it mainly cash?
    3) What bazaars and shopping centres nearby do you recommend?
    4) How long is the walk to the beach from the hotel room?
    Thanks!

      Hi,
      Awesome you will have a nice time and good choice. We went first time to Tunisia and picked this hotel.
      1) Firstly congratulations 🎆 close by I would say is Sousee Port where the marina is and they also have lots of shops and a big bazaar there. You can also visit the Ribat of Sousee. Taxi ride around 10 mins. But walking is required.
      The mall of Sousee is better as you have sitting areas when required it's a shopping centre but you won't experience the bazaar type of shops. Both places only via taxi.
      There are some shops walking distance from the hotel as you exit go left and walk 5 mins you will have a few bazaar type of shops they are huge so will take a while for you to look around. Well worth a visit.
      2) Yeah they do accept card but generally bazaar type of shops usually take cash. I prefer myself to pay cash unless it's decent looking shop. The hotel has a exchange office inside near reception.
      3) Mall of Sousee, Sousee Port with marina. Local shops. (See answer 1 for the details)
      4) The beach is within the premises so you walk along the allocated paths and you will be at the beach on around 5 mins walk. Plus the walk is very nice in the hotel grounds.
      Hope this helps. Any other questions feel free to ask.
      Also see my other videos of the pirate ships that are at the Sousse Port and the Ribat or Sousee if you wish to visit. Plus I have some shorts videos showing what the beach looks like, hope that helps and gives you a better idea.
      Thanks.

    Hi , I'm looking to book holiday and visit here..few questions if you don't mind.. how clean were the rooms? Does the hotel have mosquito and flies issues? Outside the hotel what places are there to visit and how far ?

    • @theadventure1071
      @theadventure1071  Před 5 měsíci +3

      Hi,
      Thanks for your questions. I'll try to help as much as I can.
      1) The rooms were clean and they were cleaned everyday so I was very happy with that.
      2) We went at the start of march at that time we didn't have any mosquito issues, the reviews online for this hotel are also promising hence why we picked this hotel. + To add the food is very good in my opinion.
      3) Tunis the capital is around 3 hours drive we hired a car and driver for the day, not bad when you have a full car of people the price per person isn't that bad.
      Walking distance - there are some small shopping malls, a few local Bazaar's which are decent. (Walk left as you come out of the hotel main gates). Short taxi ride you have the mall of Sousse which is very nice. Another short taxi ride is Sousse Port where you can see pirate ships and again a big bazaar with loads of shops. Also they got the marina with the Ribat or Sousee. These are some of the things we did apart from excursions (camel rides, horse riding, quad bikes).
      Also get a taxi outside the hotel gates they are cheaper than ordering from the reception.
      Any other questions feel free to ask.

      @theadventure1071 thank you for that...did the taxi drivers try asking for more money also does the hotel provide tour guides or do you have to arrange this yourself also the port of sousse is that where boating and quads and such things are.

      For the taxi download bolt a taxi app, check the price to your destination at the hotel using WiFi so when you go outside you know how much to pay roughly. If it's showing 30 diners the taxi will say 80 but negotiate to 30 and don't get in till you agreed on a price you're happy with.

      @theadventure1071  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi,
      The transfer from airport to Hotel is around half an hour as far as I can remember we were happy that the transfer was so quick, as it's one of the first drop offs along the coach's route.
      On the way back it's the last pick up point before going to the airport so again not a long journey. 👍

      @@user-ym6so4yv9d There are three hotels on the site that share the use of the facilities (indoor pool, sauna and steam, gym) and the swimming pool with slides. So whichever hotel you stay at you can use the outdoor pool with the slides.
      You only have to dine at the hotel you are staying at, as each hotel has its own colour wristband.
      Hope this helps 🙂

    Hi I’m so confused. What’s the difference between
    Marhaba Salem Beach appartements , Marhaba Royal Salem and Marhaba club Hotel? Ive booked the last one but i would prefer the one with the castle glides. What’s your recommendation? I’ll be traveling with my son of 14

    • @theadventure1071
      @theadventure1071  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Hi,
      As far as I'm aware all three resorts share the same facilities. They are different hotels, plus you can only dine at the hotel that you have booked with as each hotel has it's own colour wristband, but the outdoor pool you share.
      The Marhaba Royal Salem is the main/ most expensive out of the three to stay at. That's where the indoor pool is located with the steam, gym and whirlpool. Hence why we went there.
      Hope this helps. The details I have given are to the best of my knowledge from visiting and asking questions whilst I was there.

      Plus the temperature wasn't hot enough for the outdoor pool in March, so we used the indoor pool which was brilliant.
