Hi all, not sure if relevant anymore. My problem, which manifested in the same way was that the container, where the grounds go to also has a button in the grinder to check that it is in it's place. If it's not fully seated, the grinder will stop. Sometime coffee dust accumulates in the slot and the container will not slot in correctly. Cleaned and give a good tap. Works now ok.
This grinder has weak motor, it is faulty by design. My solution is to start grinder before pouring in coffee beans. Then pour slowly and steadily, and everything is OK.
Would love to know how to take the device apart as I can only work it with the start button over and over again as the timer seems to of failed - the video is how this problem started and then after awhile it will only start for a second with the start button and does not run ? I’ve turned it upside down and removed 6 of the triangle screws but the device seems not to come apart - anybody got outer ideas how to achieve this so at least I can look at the failed part ?
I suggest pouring the beans into an already running grinder by little amounts at a time. That way less torque is needed in order to break up the beans and your grinder might be able to grind beans it previously couldn’t manage.

I returned mine to the store and they agreed it was a faulty grinder and gave a full refund.
Same problem. How did you fixed ?
