Here comes the axer, here comes the smasher, the demolition walking disaster, where do I begin with you guys, you made my childhood great, recently I watched survivor series 88 10 man, what do you think of your partner now, your battles with rockers and hart foundation, you NEED to be in hall of fame, believe it or not a lot of fans still love YOU, I’m one of them, oh gees, I could say so much more, but thank you demolition for what you did in wwf.
So many great tag teams and characters back then that had fun working and being with each other. “The Machines” may have been the best tag team ever and certainly could take on the Road Warriors even in Japan.
My all time favorite tag team. Please come to Albany NY. I am 55 years I stand at 6 feet 300 lbs, and I would love to go have a few beers and listen to you both talk about your wrestling pasts. You guys were awesome and you will always be my favorite tag team. Thank you for a lot of awesome memories. From a true fan.
Kinda ironic that these guys, Bill and Barry, talked about how well they worked with Andre. We all know that Andre's last match in the WWF was at Wrestlemania 6 against Demolition. I'm sure Andre was glad his last WWF match was against them.
These two and the road warriors actually scared the SHIT out of me!!! 😄😄😄 glad the didn't beat up children!!! 😄😄😄 great Saturdays!!! ✊✊✊ thanks fellas!!!
Haku & Barbarian where a team. Bobby Heenan was their manager & they even have gotten a CAC award recently in 2019 as a tag team. The tag team was called faces of fear in WCW then as Just Haku & Barbarian in WWF. Why they never had a championship run was total BS
People always say that for a gimmick/character to work in wrestling it needs to be an extension of the real person, well these two must not have gotten that memo cause they seem to be the opposite of their demolition characters.
From what I've gathered these guys were 100% professionals and were a joy to work with. I don't think I ever heard a bad word about either of them in a shoot interview.
Demolition......POUND 4 POUND.......UNSTOPPABLE BACK THEN........TODAY THEY WOULD STILL BE UNSTOPPABLE NOW........AXE & SMASH......EXACTLEY WHAT THEY DID........PURE F**KING BAD ASSES.....MISS U GUYS BEING IN THE RING..!!
…….he abused you. lol. and then he would still show you some respect. Andre was just a good person. flawed....but good. he did need to be checked a couple of times though......
Met these two a couple years ago. My favorite tag team. But they say they wished they put haku and barbarian together as a tag team, I guess they never watched wrestlemania 7?
*PAIN N DESTRUCTION* *IS OUR MIDDLE NAME!!* Lol anyone else notice (even on Hannibal) Barry can't help but mimic Bill's body language? I guess that's how tight they are as a true duo/ brothers and testimony to why they are the.. *GREATEST TAG TEAM EVER!!* *Thank you AX and SMASH!!* 🍺 From *New Zealand* 🍺🇳🇿🇳🇿
These are two first class pros, Ax and Smash. Andre, the boys and wrestling was everything in his life. Having Haku at the end of his career to take bumps was brilliant for him. Traveling often via airplane, being in airports, is no fun. Being former military I can attest to some of that. I traveled alone most of the time too. Part of that grind was the long 12-15 hour flights in coach. First class is well worth it then. I traveled to Korea, these guys traveled to Japan. Ax talks about traveling to Japan then going back two weeks later. I might have just stayed there to avoid those multiple flights to and from. It makes a huge difference too if you have a chartered plane or can travel on a company plane. Of course Ax and Smash were not that distinguished of stars for that to be provided for them. All sports teams have their own chartered planes now. But if you fly commercially now, you are in the same mode as everyone else. Plan on three hours at the airports, that gets old, and if you do not have direct flights, it's much longer often times. It's a grind, then like in WWE, you show up and you have someone who just cruised in on the company jet, avoided all the crowds, on your butt on how to and what to do for your match. The fun is no longer there to be yourself.
Andre the giant was very sick at this time. And stayed out of the ring as much as possible. It was written in the story line before the match started. I believe if he had been well, demolition would not have won
I was bourn in 1978 i saw my grandparents turn onn the tv and out came Demolition And i said wtf is that so i got grounded and had nightmares for a week over ax and smash
Man i hated these guys growing up. Who knew that they were such nice guys? That story about them taking Andre the Giant to the vineyard of his favorite whine was really sweet. I kinda feel bad that they were only around for 6 years. I doubt that they made enough money in that short time to support themselves for the rest of their lives.
These wrestling group names are hilarious and sounds so cheesy Colossal Connection, Evolution, CanAm Connection, Nation of Domination. Vince and his cheesy wrestling gimmick names lol.
@@hymansahak181I liked that name. They were managed by The Brain and pointed to their heads to remind us plebians that they were smarter than us. And they busted people. Hence, The Brain Busters... who used a spike piledriver as a finisher.
Haku was certainly an elite fighter. But make no mistake, Andre was far too powerful with immeasurable strength and too big for anyone to handle. I don't care if it's Haku, Harley Race, Dick Slater or Bruiser Brody. They all end up 6ft under at the hands of the giant!
Super respect to Bill for teaching special education! These guys are legends.
He taught in East Liverpool, Ohio. They are all special needs.
Bill prob got biggest heart of them all! He's big and tough with a BIG heart!
Loved them growing up, love them even more after watching their interviews. Two class acts!!
I love the original demolition I think crush didn’t fit right
@@ericjohnson-ds5ll*, the original "Demolition" didn't have Darsow. He took one of the "Moondogs" spot in the team.*
Great to see these 2 legends and class acts giving the team of Andre and Haku their just does.
These 2 are genuine good guys, long live the demo's
Demolition, two very humble individuals, Shawn Michaels you should be like them
Demolition greatest tag team all time. Love watching these n hearing stories
These guys gave me some of the best memories of my childhood..
One of the greatest tag teams in history and two all around amazing gentlemen.
Ax&Smash two most humble respectful, clean wrestlers from my generation. My favorite team still today.
These guys seem like really good people. Much more “normal” than a lot of the wrestlers from their generation
I know. They seem like laid back granddads.😊
Yeah, by all accounts, they saved their money, went on to legitimate careers after wrestling, and didn't screw up their lives with drugs.
These guys are great. I met them at Alamo City Comic Con. Very awesome guys
Lots of love for Demolition. Super Props to Bill for helping by teaching... Just a guess, but I'm thinking *his class* I wouldn't be late for. LOL

I loved that one survival series where they teamed with the Ultimate warrior
They were my favorite tag team and I've been watching wrestling over 50 years. Nice to know they are great guys outside of the Arena
So many great tag teams and characters back then that had fun working and being with each other. “The Machines” may have been the best tag team ever and certainly could take on the Road Warriors even in Japan.
Best childhood ever because of Demolition

Two of the coolest guys from one of my favorite tag teams
Kinda ironic that these guys, Bill and Barry, talked about how well they worked with Andre. We all know that Andre's last match in the WWF was at Wrestlemania 6 against Demolition. I'm sure Andre was glad his last WWF match was against them.

Wish these guys would get into the hall of fame
Haku & Barbarian where a team. Bobby Heenan was their manager & they even have gotten a CAC award recently in 2019 as a tag team. The tag team was called faces of fear in WCW then as Just Haku & Barbarian in WWF. Why they never had a championship run was total BS
These two remind me of those cool uncles/Dad`s friends who came to every BBQ and would tell so many great stories
Could listen to these guys talk all day. Seem very down to earth. No bullshit
Hats off teaching thouse kids very humble
So much respect for that.
People always say that for a gimmick/character to work in wrestling it needs to be an extension of the real person, well these two must not have gotten that memo cause they seem to be the opposite of their demolition characters.
Can’t believe how classy these guys are. I thought they were such bad asses in the late 80”s (real life too!)
But they are great actors (Kayfabe!)
Bill is so coool, he makes a green hawaien shirt look sly.
From what I've gathered these guys were 100% professionals and were a joy to work with. I don't think I ever heard a bad word about either of them in a shoot interview.
Special education teacher, wow, that's amazing.
Yes...
Very down to earth class people..with good jobs after their careers
I so remember the machines. The height of my childhood fandom.
The Machines....that was great and I still remember that.
Meng/Haku and Barbarian were the Faces of Fear.
Haku and The Barbarian did tag together in WCW but Haku went by Meng at the time.
I was thinking that they had teamed together.
Great team in their time and seem to be two really good guys.
yea haku and the barbarian great team watched them wrestle the rockers at wm 7.
you are both good people. thank you for the memories. respect to both Bill and Barry
Actually, the Barbarian & Haku teamed up at Wrestlemania 7.
When i first saw the interview with the machines I knew super machine was the mask superstar. His voice is easy to spot.
Haku and Barbarian might have snapped and actually killed someone in the ring lol
If Andre liked you, he LOVED you, which is why he always picked up the Tab. if he did not like you......well........
…….he abused you. lol. and then he would still show you some respect. Andre was just a good person. flawed....but good. he did need to be checked a couple of times though......
Haku & Barbarian were a team in 91.
Beaujolais is my favorite wine, too! But 2 glasses is enough for me.
My absolute favorite tag team. Me and 1 of my brother's used to dress as demolition for halloween. Here comes the Ax and here comes the smasher!!!
Met these two a couple years ago. My favorite tag team. But they say they wished they put haku and barbarian together as a tag team, I guess they never watched wrestlemania 7?

Two class acts. Guys you want to hangout with.
these guys are class
These guys are just awesome!
Some of the most humble guys.
Bill’s awesome
Here comes the Ax!! Here comes the Smasher!!
What did Bill say Haku is doing today? The sound on these interviews is horrible.
Thats funny i just wiatched this match day before yesterday
Didnt Meng/Haku & Barbarian team in WCW as faces of Fear
i believe they did
Yes they did bubba.
They teamed in WWF, too. At WM VII they worked with the Rockers
Great video good sharing Like 👉👍👍

Let Darsow talk.
Great video but the audio is horrible
Cool video
these are real dudes. Im impressed. Good people

what's the deal with brian's?
If André & Haku were to wrestle with the current WWE roster, there would be no more wrestlers because they’d all be put in the hospital.
dumb statement
They'd only hurt someone if they wanted to, that's why these guys talk about them being so great to work with.
Ax is so different to his in ring days....I used to think he was such a baddass when I was a kid
Man i hated these guys growing up. Who knew that they were such nice guys? That story about them taking Andre the Giant to the vineyard of his favorite whine was really sweet. VvvvvvvNice and cool
Imagine AX as your teacher? Geez lol
6-9-20
all id wanna do is talk wrestling with him lol.
Do the kids know you were in demolition?
The colostabee connection
They used to clean Andre's fecal matter off their attire after every match.....until they were flushed 💩🤷♂️
Shawn Michaels is so weird
The giant as a tag team champ in the shape he was in was bad marketing. What were they thinking?
These wrestling group names are hilarious and sounds so cheesy Colossal Connection, Evolution, CanAm Connection, Nation of Domination. Vince and his cheesy wrestling gimmick names lol.
When ya put it like that - he must love the sound of ...tion
they sold lol.
Brain Busters was one of the worst. A shit name on one of the greatest tag teams that ever lived
@@jkeegan154
I agree. One of the best technical teams ever and Vince came up with Brain Busters? It’s as bad a name as the Red Rooster.
@@hymansahak181I liked that name. They were managed by The Brain and pointed to their heads to remind us plebians that they were smarter than us. And they busted people. Hence, The Brain Busters... who used a spike piledriver as a finisher.

Wrong. Bobby Heenan said that Andre was afraid of Haku.
Two great guys
