She isn't broadly popular only because she doesn't sing the more popular Top 40 type songs. But she is becoming famously popular with those who appreciate the genre she does perform. When you're getting millions of views on CZcams .. popularity is not in question. She may not be the next Rhianna .. but she could very well be the next Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion or Whitney Houston performing the standards that live forever. Linda Ronstadt is not her genre.. but she made a top star career singing covers of other songs and making them her own. Eventually.. Lucy may have originals written just for her or asked to perform them for movies. Don't write her off because she's not a teen idol sensation.
From what little I see of her Live.. she seems nervous and not a natural onstage person. I've seen other up and coming stars who seem to be born to be on stage as well as sing. People who belong on Broadway. But she can work towards that. She also has to deal with her accent which is never noticeable when she sings. But could have some limits in some markets. Overall..she is destined to be Great.

I agree John but she hasn't sold her soul to the devil (big producers) and I hope she keeps it that way. In todays world with all the online media companies artist don't have to be slaves to a brand. She is published by a UK independent producer. But in todays world you don't have to have the big name companies to make money. IMO anyways

Like all of the songs Lucy sings, I must have heard them 100 times, but I have never been moved so much by a voice like that. It is like hearing the song for the first time.
I totally agree that every time I hear a song by Lucy, it's like hearing it for the first time! And she has become so much more mature in her looks, losing that child plumpness. Lucy's voice has matured as well, making her singing even more mesmerizing and rich, and soothing. I have to listen to her sing everyday!

I don't think it's a challenge at all for Lucy, she easily sings much better tone to her voice, clarity, pitch perfect , such beautiful emotion she is the best storyteller, Lucy attracts your attention from the first word and never let's go, the most amazing range and so smooth from the lowest notes to the highest, can hold on any note forever, never screeches, Lucy touches my heart and soul on every song, and manages to give me chills and goosebumps , and makes me cry every time,no matter how many times I've heard it before
