Hows it feel to see the pistol back on the market after so long?

@@WVGunsNGoats - after 12 years it great to hear. I just shot 2 mags through it a couple of weeks ago. I didn't send it in for the recall.

Nicely done review, thank you. Can you elaborate more on the qualitative aspects of the trigger? Have you measured the pull weight? The trigger is long, but is it "gritty" or "squishy"?

I have that pistol but black and ODG. The gun is accurate but here are the things I notice.
The trigger pull is long, it has to be the longest striker pull firearm I ever owned or shot
The magazines do not have witness-holes both side
The trigger reset is again long very long. You have to let the trigger travel the full return to get a reset. I had issues due to shooting Glock and Steyr, with not letting off the trigger fully
The last thing the gun feels light and the recoil from this gun is not very low. And that's with me shooting non-RP ammo. It seems more snappy than a M&P
I'm on the fence about this gun purchase but still evaluating this firearm and its potential. I have fired only the 500rd FMJ Monarch Zince-steel case and Sellior Belloit and approx 50th of Federal JHP 115gr.
The JHP was more accurate than the Monarch, I only bought Monarch since it was like 9 per box and if this gun can handle steel it will surely handle brass
    Good video and explanation.
    😁

Addressing the trigger, i feel thats its due to its military roots, the gun was a service pistol for the UAE, so i think the longer trigger pull and reset is aimed at arming a country with people who may be less familiar with firearms.
And design features like the removable breech block for service are also indicative of this.
Its a neat handgun due to its design, and fun to shoot, i’m glad i have it in my collection, even if it wouldnt be a primary choice of mine to grab.

It's actually a pretty comfortable pistol to shoot. Despite its weird looks.
