Lots of work. Waiting for the finished product.
Talez From the DashCam Im ordering tires and wheels today. And getting all the loose ends done this week on the CJ.
Looking forward to the build!
I went through the same thing when I was in my early twenties with a 1980 cj7 I'm that jeep wish I still had it I have a 02 tj wrangler know it's a working progress lol
Thanks for checking out the channel. Yeah this Jeep was that Typical Barn Find. It’s been a awesome project for sure. One of those projects that you can only do a little at a time or you go insane. lol it’s always something going wrong too.
Nice but you should drop the music .
Some times I do go a little nuts with music. I try and keep it like back ground noise now and keep it very minimum.
Can do without the music in the background. Could barely make out what you're saying...
Other than that, I enjoyed watching. I am getting parts ready for a 4" lift on my 82'
Thanks for the video..... and safety tips.
I was just going to say the same thing.
Did you need a drop pitman arm for this ?
Yes the lift comes with one. But I highly recommend not installing a drop pitman arm due to the week steering box. I am currently installing mountain off roads Drag Link and Tie Rod kit. This will level out the steering angle without a drop pitman arm.
OK, thanks I'll research that before I lift mine.
Check out my video does your Jeep drive like a boat????? I’ll be posting a video soon on my installation of the kit. Basically you need a 5/8 drill bit, a steady hand and a good drill.
Not at all, I can let go of the wheel at 60 mph (don't recommend it though) and it's steady and true.
Yes
Let me know what you think of the CJ so far? Wheel & Tire recomendations would be nice....
Looked better before.
May have missed it, what tire size in this video?
The originals were 31. We went with 35s.
@@Jeeptv thank you. I have a 1976 cj7. It's previous owner had a 2" body lift and a 2.5" suspension. I'm getting ready to work all that out... do it right as it were.
Thanks for checking out the channel. Yeah the 35s were probably a perfect fit for the 4in lift. Im sure you could go 3.5 and still fit them. Just have to watch out for the backspacing on your wheels and make sure your going to have enough clearance to turn. We added wheel spacers bc the front passenger tire at full lock was digging into the leaf springs.
@@Jeeptv I've lifted a Cherokee before ran 31" on 3" lift. Minor rubbing until I cut it
Not into lifted jeeps
I would of left it stock
