Pre release events are a really great starting point, I just started playin 6 months ago and my first tourney event was a paradox build and battle and it was really fun, decks were still really diverse too. Now im trying to go every week or other week when I can and players are really fun and helpful.

i haven’t gone to a decklisted tourney since i’ve gotten my lz tina together and i thought it’d be funny to get all different arts of comfey. didn’t realize how annoying that’s gonna be while filling out lists 😂😭
I usually print out my friends lists for them for cups and challenges but i always tell them to triple check to make sure i didnt mess up
Gonna participate in the regionals tournament in Dortmund in a couple of days with my son. It's his/ our very first time. My son was recommended to participate in a local store so that's an entire new experience for us all.
Are there any different rules/ match set ups regarding kids? Or is it the same as with adults regarding breaks number of games you have to play in a row, etc.?

Do you double sleeve your Pokémon centre Japan sleeves with outer sleeves or are they good enough not to? I’m worried the art will scratch or fade on mine.
i've gotten into the tcg when i started collecting last year and i'd want to compete but where i'm from there's no shops that sell cards or any tournaments that run, and its pretty expensive to fly as you've stated, any help or tips on what to do?

How long does a season go and when does it start? In april with the rotation or when is the best time to start collecting points?
New season starts the day of the world championships and season ends after NAIC. Rotation happens about halfway into the season. There is no best time to collect points really. just depends on your city and personal situations

So say i am going to a pre release and i forget my dice do they give out spares and can i use clear ultra pro sleeves for my cards for cards
Stores usually have more than enough dice to share or your opponent will share dice with you, clear sleeves are a big no-no but pre-release they might let you since all cards are in theory coming straight from the pack. But clear sleeves should never really be used for gameplay

Bro i am 15 years old i am getting a job now and i wanna play pokemon with the money i earn. The point is i live in the netherlands and most regionals are in america en canada and its expensive for me. So what do i do? Also are there pokemon seasons just like in football/soccer or do they just host random regionals and you can play?

I have no place ın my country that has these events, Pokemon is almost non-existent to play, only to collect. I feel so bummed, I wanna play the decks I work so hard on to bring together, only to find no one to play them with, except for my friends (whom I basically force to play).
