- Join me & Charlotte as we visit Chessington World Of Adventures Resort for a day of exciting rides and animal experiences. We check out the new for 2017 Gruffalo River Ride adventure and see if anything has changed since our last visit when the ride first opened. Also new for this year is the Chessington Adventure Tree Carousel. We take a ride and share our review of this impressive focal point at the park.
Along with sharing plenty of on and off ride footage from various attractions at the park, we also explore the zoo and see which animals we can spot! On top of that, we also stay in the Chessington Safari Hotel and share footage from inside the hotels facilities along with a room tour!

I WAS THERE IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND AND I WAS STAYING IN THE SAME HOTEL AND I SAW U AT RECEPTION IN DE HOTEL IDK IF YOU WERE FILMING OR NOT BUT I WAS SOO SUPRISED I WAS LIKE OMG ITS HIM HE IS ON YT OMG OMG OMG!!!! Glad I got to go on Dragon Falls before the retheme. Funny story about the last time I went to Chessington: we ended up going the wrong way round the M25 because my stepmum had only recently passed and didn't know about the Dartford Crossing.

Went on the Gruffalo River Ride for the first time last week... and I loved it! I remember the Bubbleworks opening and I grew up with that ride so I wasn't expecting to like it! =)

Pre Tomb Blaster was Terror Tomb, I remember its well, it was a great and pretty scary dark ride. No silly guns and lights stuck to everything

This Famous Theme Park Chessington World Of Adventures Is Also Were They Filmed The Episode Of Learn With Sooty A To Z Of Animals Was Filming Here In 1990. This Is Because Thames Television And ITV Studios Filmed It And Then VCI Release It On Home Video. Thanks Theme Park Worldwide Mate. X

I think that one of those coasters in the plans will arrive in 2019, on the area of grass between Dragons Fury and Vampire. We can only hope!

I preferred the original runaway train to the scorpion express. The rock work and theming was better and the queue line was cool where u walked above it and around to the ride and it felt much more intense because of the amount of tunnels there was

Interesting find about the park possibly misrepresenting the queue times on the board in order to drive up fastpass sales. If that is in fact what's happening (and not just them not being able to accurately gauge queue times) then that's a big issue, but either way, they should try to be more accurate in their queue time estimates so that they can be above reproach when allegations like that are made. I bought a Flash Pass when I visited Magic Mountain last year and I only used it on about 2 rides as most were walk-ons. Glad I only went for the cheapest one! :-)

When I last went chessington me and my family did not like the smell coming from the gruffulo ride, we think that somebody peed themselfs just before we got onto the ride. ( As if they peed on the cat infront of ours not our cart XD ) Luv u xx

I live a good few hours away from Chessington, do people think it's worth the drive down and staying over to have two days worth of the park or not?
Yes, yes, definitely!
We've been so many times that we start at Chessington, my boys hit there favourite rides, then we drop off at Thorpe park on the way home for the thrill rides, Sunday's are so quiet that we could achieve this in one day.
I'm sad that bubble works is gone but It is old soo the fixed it and made it gruffalo but it looks fun
Sit on either end at the front on Ramases revenge (sorry if the spelling was wrong!) and you won't get wet, that's what I always do, just don't be tricked into sitting at the back, because that's where you get the most wet!!
Where are you going on your asia megatrip Shawn? I went to singapore last year and went to Universal Studios Singapore, it is brilliant! Not as good as other Universal Studios, as there is a lack of attractions such as Harry Potter and Minions etc. However, they have a unique Madagascar area with an AWESOME dark water attraction, thats a must do! Also watch water world out there, its fab. Battlestar Galactica is good too, if thats open do it. Also, make sure you save some time to explore Sentosa island (the island that Universal is on) and if you have some money, go ahead and do the cable car! Hope you enjoy it!

Dragon's Fury looks like a great coaster - quite fast. But I wouldn't be able to take the spins. Up & down coasters are fine, but any spinning things make me really ill. Shame.
