- Basically they all have individual room except family like Momoko and Fubuki. After the closing time they return to their own room, eat alone, spend alone and sleep alone. Sakura has no family at Tama zoo so she spends her time alone during the night.
its such a powerful experience to witness their ability to forgive and make up....we have so much in common with these beings its unbelievable

This was so sweet Nana was trying to teach and comfort Sakura but Gin kept trying to come to Sakura's rescue. He took some good licks from big old Nana, I believe Nana is his father Lucky's sister. Never interfere when women are teaching young women how to behave. Nana tried to kiss her, aww then loved on Gin to tell him no hard feelings.
Grandma P Gin is starting to get big, and his voice is so deep, I think he will give bonbon a run for his money if he don't get separated from the group
Grandma P This was nothing short of fascinating. Was it not? This was a great catch on camera in my opinion. Someone of these researchers out it the wild go years trying to catch stuf like this.

Lol I notice from all of gins battle videos he has a different style of combat unlike other chimps instead of just running away he turns around and runs backwards trying to get as many licks in as possible until he completely takes off and I rarely see him biting instead he uses those long arms to deliver punishing shots. I love this chimp lol I wonder can max handle his self during combat he did lose that one battle to gin a year ago and was also bullied by bon in a video from a few months ago.
King44 ---- I think Gin will be Alpha, eventually. Bonbon has the muscle right now but he is 3 years older and Gin has gradually been filling out. He'll physically catch up to Bon soon. Max resembles Gins body type just a bit small. I think it will come down to what the ladies want. And since Bonbon seems too backwards in that dept. I think Gin will get a backing by quite a few of the ladies.
Joelene C. Yeah I can only feel both gin and max only fear bon so much is the fact that he’s just bigger. They will have to gain a whole lot of confidence before they can start directly challenging him. It will be even more surprising if Gin does take over will max try to gain number two position over bon. Idk if they will get bigger but I’m %100 they will get taller than bonbon.

I agree. It could be a rough battle, brains or brawn. But it may come down to the boys being separated like Decky and Kenta.
Although Decky is, at heart, a gentle soul, he still at 40 can be extremely intimidating when he gets angered or irritated by Bonbon, et al. Decky himself is a huge chimp.
My fear is that Bonbon will actually engage him in a real fight. I don't know for sure, but I get the impression that Decky does not really know how to fight or mate due to his human upbrininging into his 20s.
I am afraid if a rift involves Peach or Cherry, that Bonbon could seriously injure Decky or worse.
The thing I observe about Bonbon is that he has a rage button. If it is pressed, he goes nuts.
As bad as Kenta's torn lip was, if you review that video, Kenta had other injuries and bleeding cuts. Bite marks, contusions. Kenta was not only knocked around, he was seriously injured. Bonbon could have killed him.
Joe Landers if you noticed the video where Peach was blaming Bonbon for causing trouble with Decky ( I don’t know who posted it ) I’m hoping if it comes down to it Peach will step in with Decky. I know Gin will, he loves Decky. I wonder if there have already been enough scraps that the zoo is now keeping them separated, I don’t see big sweet Decky fighting, but he is a chimpanzee and his natural wild may come out.
Also....where is Decky?!

Nana and Sakura finally touched hands nana never gave up on her. My Gin is just perfect.
Carmelribbon3 I have a question for you or perhaps a staff member of the zoo if you wouldn't mind inquiring.
When the chimps go indoors to their night quarters are the in one large enclosure or individual ? I would assume it would be one large enclosure, as I've seen elsewhere, if so could you find out how Sakura behaves amongst the others ? Is she difficult and a troublemaker as we see her behaving. I could almost see her keeping to herself since she has nowhere to escape.

I don't know about everyone else, but I've pretty much had it with listening to Sakura scream. Something just is not right. It has been almost a year since she has been introduced to the group.

Joe Landers --- totally agree! But I lean more to immaturity and the fact she came into the group when there wasn't clear lines of who's in charge. I think th combination has her all messed up.
This is confusing as shit now. Kenta is supposed to be dead. This is an old video!!!
rob peters --- Caramels video are always slightly behind, due to editing I assume. This video was filmed the same month Kenta passed.
She’s feeling alone and lost. Doesn’t really know who too trust at this point. I feel bad for her in the description it says she spends her nights alone they should of tried to pair her up with Momoko and Fubuki at night. That’s just terrible too be taken away from your family, too he left alone at night then all the stress during the day. I hope she has a baby soon. I know this is a old video but she still is feeling this. Again they having feelings and memories of their own past. It makes me sad. I’m very proud of Gin for stepping in and helping Sakura.

She causes a lot of undue stress for everyone. That interaction between gin and nana at the end was amazing. It’s almost as if he was signing.
I believe Sakura is being bullied by the older females. She looks like she wants to go to them but doesn't bc she knows that they would not be nice to her. I too love Gin and am glad to see that he's trying to defend Sakura?
She has been like this at home: disrespecting the adults, throwing tantrums, etc.

Kim D she is nine yrs old, next young female older is Mikan at 12. Even Max and Gin are younger than her. You can go to the GAIN website to learn more of this group. These are all teen chimps given adult chimps a hard time, sounds like us humans 😂😂

Sakura was introduced, outdoors, on November 13, 2017 so that is 9 months if my math is correct. Again, IMO she has had sufficient time to integrate into the group. Perhaps having her outdoors ONLY when Decky is the leader of the day might be helpful to her cause. But after just watching Nana go to extremely great lengths trying to comfort Sakura as well as the others who have tried and not succeeded previously one must begin to think that Sakura just may not be a chimp with the capabilities of socializing. Just think what would have become of her had this would have occurred in the wild.
Rich Reske she was the same way at her old zoo, her dad would have to calm her, then she would turn right around and do it again. Stubborn teenager that doesn’t learn. It may take her yrs but I think putting her with Decky one day and Nana and Peach the next day will help. There are females in this group who will not tolerate her and notice that some completely ignore her. I think Fubuki has learned to bite from her, never have we seen him bite until recently. But then again we get only a fraction of a 24 hour day.

2020 Tk God she got better. Poor girl just didn’t know where to fit in at. It’s hard to hear her. She was in estraus and clueless.

Nereida Sims no, but we are wishing they would Gin is just a teen, lots of growing to do, but he sits and observes everything, very smart. Bonbon is a young male, lots of brains to developed, more muscle and stomping, I believe he will be a aggressive chimp alpha. I also think they are both following Peach and Decky right now, jmo

I'm beginning to think something is mentally wrong with Sakura. She acts like everyone wants to hurt her. Nana was trying her best to comfort her. Sakura is very ODD.

jacki B she is just being defensive because she is new to the group, some of the other younger female chimps are jealous of her, but bonbon and gin like her, I think she will be high in the hiarchy of the group
Clint Jones I disagree. I think she's been here for a year now or longer she should be settled in by now. I think she's the youngest female in there. I think she could be the one who is jealous I don't see in these videos where the other females are jealous of her at all I see them trying to be nice to her but she is making it very hard for them. She starts fights with everyone including kenta at one time. Something is off or she needs to find her place which isn't going so well.
Sakura is odd, she has trust issues for sure... the group didn't exactly give her the warmest welcome either but she's really fascinating to watch with the members that are on her team... she's sweet in her own weird little way.
In every video Sakura permanently has feces on her and she rubs it on the younger chimps and stuff. I wonder why it doesn't bother her
