Nope, the app will let yu start, lock and unlock, but you have to go into the app and press a button. No button with this key, just grab the door handle and go
The digital app and the digital key is not ready for prime time. It is buggy, unreliable, and relies on cell service. If you’re in a area with weak cell service, you’re out of luck. This is a physical key that does not rely on any of that. Is the same as your key fob except with with no buttons.100% reliable as long as the batteries are good.
@@christopherbills7471 actually the digital key is not entirely just the app. You can program it to be used without the key fob in proximity. But the app does have to be open. The car uses the bluetooth identification to recognize the phone as the key and allows you to unlock it, lock it and start it. But it is buggy. I have used it to start the car though, so I can confirm that it works.
