Use being in a team + events to get around the map. Jump to other teamates its free as are public events. Learn food buffs, this means you can put perk points into say gunnery and dps and also buff intelligence for XP. Public events are XP goldmines! Do them even if you just hide in a corner, no one is honestly going to care, they know exactly what your doing and may well even give you loot they can't carry or don't want. Get a hit on anything you can as the video states, this is a great guide! Never not scrap steel or lead, you'll thank me! The mothman event-Path to Enlightenment gives you a 5% XP buff, as does sleeping in a bed for 30 secs. This stacks as does cranberry cobbler, so 15% buff with those. It took me AGES to get to L30 1st time around, made a ton of mistakes, and its easy to respec our perks now *phew*, we were stuck with our mistakes back in the day younglings! No legendary perks either! So you CAN relax and screw up all you like. I've got to L20 several times with a damn walking stick lol.

The biggest take from this video are two things for me, fallowing what part of the storyline & the biggest problem for me as a new player was which perk cards to use/select. It doesn't matter if you made some bad picks, I think at lvl 25 you can start respeccing your special and before long you'll be scrapping cards to level legendaries anyway. By the time you're far enough into the game to get the gear to make a proper build, you'll have the resources to spec appropriately. Until then, just take whatever cards are useful at the moment and worry about your build when you're ready to spend resources on gear and you know what build you want to aim for. The biggest tip I can give to you is to join every event you see other players joining and just fire a couple shots at as many mobs as you can and let the vets carry you. Before long you'll be carrying other noobs, thus be the circle of life.
@@bradgiez6192 yeah np. Don't get discouraged. @@MrWestTek it's more a grind couse it's the second time doing it. the problem it's not the questing, it's finding all the weapons and great loot I had on Ps4.
Same I was max level with great gear and mutations now I have to start over 😢
Don't know if anyone is going to see this at this point but I'm going to post/ask it anyways. When you logout/leave the game and then enter the game again does that change your server or do you have to manually change the server yourself?
Hi There x if you join a team do you have to stay with them? also people are so nice helping giving me things, i wish i could tell them how much I appreciate it. also how do you give gifts? and last lol if i join an event, will others be mad if am only a 32 beginner. thank you again for great info
You do not have to stay on that team and join anything you want! Anyone that tries to be negative is just salty. I hope you are still surviving out there !
Just started Fallout 76... Level 27 now... Didn't know the perk points are max at 15, thought it is 10... Have not joined a team... Wish I saw your vid before starting... How do you get up there to avoid the enemies during events?
Love this game I have 3 bloodied builds commando melee and heavy
Very glad you are enjoying the game!
How did you make your pop boy see through?that’s nice
Just press the select button
Okay level 40 now with this method, ready for the next video
Won't be long buddy 🙂
Is there going to be a part 2 for this? I'm up to lvl 36 and feel lost.
Hoping to have it out tonight!
Bro said “as well” like 6 times at 20:05
IT told me to pick a clasa when leaving the vault, like assault man, melee person etc/ Which is best?
commando imo
@@MrWestTek ty!
you don't have to pick up the stuff in the vault it will be added to your inventory after you exit the vault
Has anything changed recently or is this a good place to start?
This is definitely a great casual walkthrough still. I'm working on a power ranking for beginners as well :)
@MrWestTek dude I didn't expect a reply from the creator within a minute on a year old video. Sub well earned
Just a heads up I think you get all the loot without picking them up once you leave the vault now.
Got me watching ur old videos lol.
Is there a way to make use of Inspirational playing alone or not in a team?
No. Highly recommend being in a team.
Lol every team I join dumps me because I'm level 15 and mostly can't talk because of the wife's sleeping schedule
I just started playing 76 today and the perk cards wasn't on the table with glasses and pen. Is that a big deal?
My cousin got me onto this game, currently level 5 so this is God tier advice for my noob ass haha
Really hope it helps buddy :)
What is that blue bar when you join a team I don't the have it blue bar
I just started playing a week ago. I’m at level 17, have never joined a team, or upgraded my carry weight or xp bonus. I messed up 😂
I'm stuck in the room. Door won't open after I equip the pipboy. Send help 😭
Is this a online game, can it be played offline and free roam or do you have to play it with other people
Online only, but you can easily go off on your own and not be bothered. Most people will just try to help honestly...
Ok thanks I may check it out
@@Stubear22374There’s a setting called pacifist mode that turns off pvp. I have it turned on all the time but everyone Ive run into so far has been friendly and very helpful
Missed the video game in the vault
Should I make base right away
Your preference for shotguns is admirable, but there are in fact other good guns in fallout 76.
Thz for the help new player here
2:40 i gave this video a like, already worth it. Thanks!
Can someone tell me how to get the Handmade Rifle and where it is
is shot gun considered to be a non automactic rifle?
No, it's considered a shotgun and is effected by the shotgunner perks.
Now you can start at Level 20 and it's confusing stuff.
I went to an event right out the vault yesterday and gained like 3 levels lol
When I started someone left out more stims, rad x, rad away, 10mm and 12 gauge, than I could carry!
That was very nice of them. Maybe it was me lmao
Do lots of daily ops n do the pit whenever u can
Events too ;)
@MrWestTek well not really events kinda make u use alot of ammo that make players not want to play
When for second part? :)
Working on it currently. I'm at level 35, hopefully hit 50 today. Then I have to edit and upload. Thanks for the patience, I don't want to rush it
Isn't a magazine in the start vault?
I don't think so. Just a level up card.
Where is a good place to look for pump action shotguns?
Scorched Enemies at Morgantown. The main quests will bring you there :)
@@MrWestTek you definitely said that in the video hahaha my bad, thanks for the response though! Your guide has made my time in 76 very enjoyable
I need to join a team kinda scared because I’m lvl 6 an don’t wanna not be able to help kill
You be expected to at that level :). Just join, if you get kicked, join another! Highly unlikely you will get kick tbh.
Are you really expecting people to watch your video with almost an half hour of that dance music? 😂 Hahahahaha
3Million+ views with that music :)
I’m level 12 and all the dropped shotguns are still level 5. The hunting rifles are level 10 tho. Idk how to level up the shotguns
Shortly after you reach level 15 you will find a higher level shotgun ;)
@@MrWestTek awesome thank you so much for the quick response. You are a true hero, teaching us noobs
You lost me at join a team. I really dislike the multiplayer part for FO76 and intend to be as solo as possible (as the rest of the Fallouts are). But thank you for your work.
You don't even need to do anything with them
I just started. Anyone still playing? I'd like some friends to play with
