This video shows the difference between the London Underground and the Moscow Metro. Let me know which one you like best in the comments. Follow me if you are learning English!
Metro system's reliability is more important than everything that you've mentioned in the video, and Moscow metro is by far the most reliable in the world (or at least apart from China and Japan) trains arrive every 2 minutes (sometimes every 45 sec) and they always come on time.
@YulYal old Russian built Kiev metro is beautiful, but they build like a couple of new stations since independence and most of them not underground. Also all cariages and trains are old from the 80s. Unlike Moscow ones, that has newest train park in the world by average age.
Russia is paradise on earth. We sing dance we pray 🙏🏻 to daddy Putin. We even smell his holy gas ⛽️ from behind. We worship Daddy Putin, he is our brain, we not think. Russia is heaven paradise on earth
The Moscow metro is the best in the world! I've been there 7 times! I've also been to other metros in the world, but nothing compares to the Moscow metro although the ones in Saint Petersburg are also great!
I was impressed by the Moscow Underground- but London will always be my favourite- primarily because of what you see when you come up to the street. J-Philadelphia 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Interesting choice. I'd say as a system Moscow Metro is more advanced and spacious than London U-ground (and it's no wonder as MM is of less age) but London's one has many pecularities like deep-level Tube sub-system while MM has 1 standart of trains similar to L. sub-surface lines' trains
Everything is important. Your eyes are pleased to see beauty and clearness. I use metro every day, the time between trains is about 1-2 minutes. Fast, convenient, beautiful.
@@Eroshenkova Yes, but it's not that important how the stations look like, because if you have a metro system, with absolutely beautiful stations, but trains are only running every 15 minutes, then it's more important how often the trains are running. Seoul or Tokyo have also stations, which are not beautiful, but trains run every 5-2 minutes, and they're clean. THAT is really important.
depends. the Victoria line comes every minute and the central, jubilee and Northern line comes every 2 minutes and the subsurface lines come about every 5 minutes
@@KaisOnBusesyeah in moscow at every (probaly or almost) line they come every 2 minutes and its almost impossible for a train to be late and i am on vacation currently in moscow and at some lines they still run the beatiful old trains like 81-717

ur saying about hoe beautiful the Moscow metro is, how was the journey? how packed was it? I'm not calling the lu not packed but the Moscow metro looked way more packed. lu for me since better frequency, fast and reliable
@@hedgehogenglish the lu depending on which train on average comes every 3 minutes. Victoria line comes every minute, jubilee come every 1 minute 30 secs, etc. and most of the lu stations are old and tfl isn't rich atm. so they can't rly refurbish the stations. but on the brand new elizabeth line, it's is beautiful. so modern, beautiful art etc. personally I'd say the lu and Moscow metro are even and about the same in different ways if that makes sense.
tMU at peak ours is also very packed as LU is at the same times of day. Thou it became less in recent years as Moscow City Rail (= L-Overground) project evaluates
Well one is 100 years older than the other so obviously Londoners underground (oldest metro in the world) has less design and needs more the adverts to get the money to expand
Moscow metro can look fancy, but this is not more than a picture. In terms of planning it sucks. The newer stations are uncomfortable while acting as a subway road crossing, the intersections are quite rare in comparison to London making a lot of journeys in U shape not being much faster than walking sometimes (because lines are mostly going in and out city center and that’s it. The new big circle line is mostly just cut’n’cover so cause of that stations are usually located far away from most residential areas around, sometimes right in the middle of nowhere. The distance between the stations is quite huge, so even if you live inside the metro coverage area, your nearest station could be in 35-40 or even more minutes of walking. That’s why it’s super common thing that people drive to the metro station even in a busy urban areas. Could they just take a bus? In some cases, in other they will need to take marshrutka or drive, and, god, you guys don’t have to know what marshrutka is… I’ve seen so many videos uk and american tourists are saying that msc is cool and developed, but really guys, you have no idea what you re talking about. You have only seen fancy center of moscow (even that is not really good, being stupidly designed in many aspects and SOOOO car centric), but real moscowers live a lot of times in african conditions without asphalted roads, with only marshrutkas as a public transport and dirty electrichka trains that feels like something from 70s and they’re totally unsafe
Вы наверное старый колбасный эмигрант, потому что такой феерический бред только они нести могут. В Москве нет маршруток, советских электричек, битых дорог и другого треша
@@pavelkroll there are. On Novogireevo station there are a bunch of marshrutkas, on Petushki direction, going from Kurskiy Vokzal there are a bunch of trains that looks like hell and they were never cleaned with a disgusting smell of piss everywhere in the first car

London's metro is like a Hobbit metro there's no space and air at all not for the claustrophobic people.
