Its not often that you find a spot where using a simple gold pan and a little bit of hard work leads you to pulling hundreds of dollars of gold out of the creek.
I have found over 4 grams of gold so far in this area, next week I will be using my sluice box to unearth even more. With record gold prices its never been a better time to be a gold miner!

Not sure about this , there would have to be a cap on a small very small number of people , I know of a prospecting group and they swamp your areas once they know where to go , I’m not kidding , in my opinion not a good idea , areas I know have been decimated by groups and they tell there mates and so on , loose lips sink ships , I have nothing to do with prospecting groups now totally stuffed my area where I was going.

"giant snuffer bottle" You just gave me an idea. :) One-way valve on a yabbi pump - suck profit, push down to make it go into a hose and then a bucket. Pump until bucket full, no need to stop and lift all the time! Just need dump it down a clean up sluice after, or instead of pumping into a bucket just pump directly into a sluice.

That was awesome and interesting, I headed down to reedy creek midweek for the first time this year and come across that dark mud, well that and grey and yellow clay and the gold was good even after the Easter campers had been through, workings were everywhere but where I looked, hopefully I can get back there before the water comes up I only had time for a few pans at the time but if I get back I’ll let ya know where ish I looked because I learned to look there from one of your older vids, cheers mate 🍻

Panning technique anxiety and tap-tap-tapping a pixie smile as the wildlife laugh, and the Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu to saunter up to the bank and start singing, "All bound for Mu Mu Land, Hey!" I'd go back and watch this on the mobile and on 360p, for those NTSC videotape psychedelic effects! Great gold dandruff and flakes Vo-Gus! Reedy gold, steedy steaks, seedy sour mash corn whiskey, the only type of gold out of Tennessee (made up that last bit, though never saw "Gold Fever" go there).

Being a good Rode mic you can fix it…most of the time…IF you took the battery out almost immediately! Pull the whole thing apart and wash it with de-ionised water. Deionised is different to demineralised. After you’ve cleaned the dirt with the water, spray with contact cleaner, let it dry, reassemble with a fresh battery. You should be good to go.

@@VoGusProspecting thanks...but I bring home dirt & actually like panning it to see what I have, faster than setting up the mini-recirculating sluice...I tried it with my concentrates but maybe I'll try it on fresh dirt. It captured a couple dozen garnets tho...I should probably screen it 1st...but panning in a dry desert 🏜 I could bring buckets 🪣 of water out...still, I like the old miners moss & riffles, or my Mountain Goat Trammell sometimes too. Thanks.

I’ve had a theory for many years now, that you seem to have also confirmed as true in this video… that is, that
“everything comes back to zero”
Meaning, that no matter what, how ever much money one makes, something happens, (a cost is incurred) to bring it back to zero.
I’ve had this happen so many times with such accuracy, even many times almost to the dollar of what I have, that I am convinced it is a universal law.
