i just installed the GKTech transmission mount with the coolerworks pro short shifter, how much noise and vibration are you experience.
Oh nicee. It’s a bit noisier but not enough for me to hate it. I’ve got polyurethane mounts
Did you notice much of an increase in NVH after the transmission mount? I installed the same one a couple of weeks ago and the increase in NVH is huge, I'm considering going back to oem.
Yeah there is definitely an increase in nvh. I was expecting it so it’s not bad for me. Changing any bushings to stiffer ones will always find an increase. Do you have engine mounts as well?
@@HustleGarageTV No, it's pretty much the only upgrade I've done on my 370 so far. I only upgraded because the OE trans mount is too soft. I'll be upgrading the diff mounts to poly soon too.
Ooo okay, not sure but adding all the upgraded mounts will spread out the nvh. But I’m not sure how much the total increase is
@@HustleGarageTV Yeah, I've heard adding the engine mounts does help. I've done the same mod on my previous car + other polys but didn't have an increase in NVH this much. I also don't want to go back to the terrible OE mount haha.
