I've been trying to learn this for months! This song is way above my skill level but I wanted to challange myself. I can just about play the first 12 seconds at half speed. When I'm done practicing I play the video at full speed and I'm always blown away by how well you perform it! You're super skilled, keep up the good work!

Ya this is really not a beginner friendly song lol. Playing fast is a mix of practicing it slow and fast.
Practicing it slow will allow you to focus on the notes and make sure you get the part correct. You also need to practice the part fast because you will have to change your picking technique, playing something slow and fast are done very differently.
The end goal for music is to play something so much that you dont need to think about playing it. It should come as natural as it is breathing.

Id say about 3-4 days. The whole process of learning/recording and doing the video took close to a week to do

I'd say I've been playing seriously for about 10 years but I'm no where as good as I could be lol. Everyone progresses at different speeds, there are guitarists that are way better than me and they've playing the same amount of time, or even shorter. Consistency and good practice habits are key

Charlie robbins has a pack for nolly. Thats what i use for both rhythm and leads. Just google charlie robbins nolly and you'll find it
