From Style to Arrogance: Inside the Glamorous Life of Feroz Khan, Bollywood's Icon
The Captivating World of Feroz Khan: Exploring the Stylish Enigma and Arrogance.
Firoz was born in Bangalore on September 25, 1939 to a Pathan father, Sadiq, and an Iranian mother, Fatima. He has three brothers, Abbas alias Sanjay, Akbar, and Sameer. Both Sanjay and Akbar are actors within their own rights, while Sameer is a film-maker and assists in their Golden Palms Spa located in Bangalore.
He made his entry on the silver screen in 1960 after his return from a Bangalore-based English medium school. His career initially started as a hero in 'Didi', then he signed up for villain roles, and then made a comeback as a hero again.
His noteworthy movies are Oonche Log, Main Wohi Hoon, Aag, Mela, Upasna, Aprsdh. He became even more popular after the release of Dharmatma, Qurbani, Jaanbaaz, & Dayavan. he got an award for his role in Aadmi Aur Insaan. He died of cancer in his Bangloore farm house on 27 April, 2009.
He likes sports-car races and has included this sport in Apradh and then again in Janasheen. He prefers his character name to be either Rajesh or Rakesh. He is a worshipper of Bhagwan Shri Sai Baba and always wears a gold ring on his finger and has a picture close to him. Sai Baba is revered and worshiped by Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, and Hindus in India.
He got married to Sundari in 1965 and they became proud parents of Laila and Fardeen. Despite objections raised by an Islamic Moulvi, Feroz and Sanjay got their children married to non-Islamic families. Laila was married to Rajpal, while Fardeen married Natasha Madhwani, the daughter of Mayur and former Bollywood hottie Mumtaz. Sundari and Feroz have been divorced since 1985.

Quite comprehenaive n engaging video on my teenage favourite Feroz Khan, one of the MOST HANDSOME n stylish heroes of Indian Cinema. His sensitive portrayals in Oonche Log, Arzoo, Safar, Upasana n flamboyant roles in Kala Sona, Khotay Sikkay etc made him a huge star. His focussing on his home productions viz Apradh, Dharmatma, Qurbani, Jaanbaaz etc was the wisest thing he did.I particularly liked his camaraderie with Vinod Khanna n Danny. I feel very nostalgic remembering FK, the REAL Khan. Good job Ma'am!

Thanks for the video. FK was indeed an icon. He copied Clint Eastwood in Khotte Sikkay. This movie was re-relased in Kerala post the success of Qurbani. I remember Qurbani getting released at Seena Theatre in Ernakulam. The songs were a big hit.. there was no TV in Kerala in those times. We had to wait for a while until the movie was released. It was such a hype and the movie ran for weeks.
Is it Dimple Kapadia shown at the beginning of this video?.. If you can avoid too many cuts, it will make the narration even better.. just my opinion (not a troll).

दुनिया में कितने ही बौद्धिक श्रम करने वाले आए और चले गए। दुनिया को बने हज़ारों साल हो गए हैं और अगर दुनिया अब भी जीने लायक़ नहीं बनी तो अब क्या बनेगी, हुज़ूर। पुरानी और नई फिल्में देखिए, किताबें पढ़िए, संगीत सुनिए और ऐसी ही दूसरी चीज़ों में दिलचस्पी लीजिए तो शायद आप में कुछ संवेदना पैदा हो, भलमनसाहत का जज़्बा पैदा हो, और आप एक अच्छे आदमी बन सकें। शॉपेनहावर और नीत्शे ऐसे दार्शनिक थे जिन्हें पढ़कर हमारे और आपके जैसे लोग बौद्धिक होने का दावा कर सकते थे और कर सकते हैं। और ये दोनों दार्शनिक कलाओं के महत्त्व पर बहुत बल देते हैं। इनका कहना है कि मानव जीवन में यदि वाक़ई कोई सारगर्भित चीज़ है तो वह केवल आर्ट है, वरना मानव स्वभाव की कमियों और बदमाशियों से निस्तार नहीं। और फिर मार्क्स, लेनिन, माओ, पोलपॉत और उनके जैसे कई दूसरे विचारक और बौद्धिक भी हुए हैं जिनके विचारों को लागू करने की कोशिश में दुनिया के कई हिस्सों में भयानक और दिल दहला देने वाली मारकाट और नरसंहार हुआ। आप बौद्धिक हैं, आपसे बेहतर ये बातें कौन जानता होगा। दुनिया को बदल डालने के प्रयास में अक्सर लेने के देने पड़ जाते हैं, प्यारे। आप फ़िल्में देखना आरंभ करिए और कलाकारों को प्यार करने, उनका सम्मान करने की आदत डालिए तो कदाचित् आपके अंदर भी कुछ सकारात्मक बदलाव पैदा हों और आपके आसपास के लोगों को उससे कुछ लाभ मिले। बाक़ी तो भैया इस दुनिया में बहुत बड़े-बड़े तीसमारख़ाँ अर्थात् बौद्धिक आए और आकर चले गए। कहने का मतलब यह कि बड़े बड़े बहि गए, गँडरें थाह माँगें। यह मुहावरा तो आप जैसा बौद्धक ख़ूब समझता होगा। तो अज़ीज़म, फ़िल्में देखिए और उनसे जुड़े कलाकारों पर जान दीजिए।
