Joe Biden has been a good president. What you're talking about someone to take Trump down, has to be the people in this country. We have to support our president by voting for him in mass. I have been the biggest cheerleader of the Democratic Party in the last 8 years. I'm quickly becoming disillusioned. I love Joe Biden. I was heartbroken watching the debate. He's been a fantastic president. I don't dispute that. But part of being a great leader is recognizing what their people need. If he's going to ignore this, then his character isn't what I myself have argued it is. This situation is forcing the party, writ large, to take positions and make arguments that are antithetical to what I thought they represented. They're asked about the FUTURE, they pivot to the past and parrot Biden's record. That's not in dispute! The new info we have is the debate and I refuse to be gaslit about what I saw. That makes us question our FUTURE, not Biden's PAST record. Increasingly, it seems like we're making this about Joe Biden instead of being about AMERICA. Like we "owe" him another term. America wants to be confident about their future. We know what Trump is. We're relying heavily on the Dem Party in recent years and I appreciate how reliable they've been. But if this ask.. to put up a candidate that begins to restore Americans' faith.. because they are the only party we believe will stay true to what's best for the COUNTRY.. is too big an ask.. if we're doing the same thing Republicans have done and are making a single person the center of the party.. how is that NOT a "cult of personality"?? I still don't understand why they can't just give someone else the nomination at the convention. I voted for Biden in 2020, but I can't ignore what I saw the other night. At this point I'm honestly relieved my vote essentially doesn't count, due to where I live.
I left the Democrat Party when Clinton ran for President. He was as corrupt as they come. Biden is More Corrupt and should be in Jail for opening our Borders to 2 MILLION Illegal Migrants, he has given them OUR Social Security Benefits which is depleting the Fund for Citizens who paid into it for their entire lives. President Biden gives "strong speeches" when he reads them, a far cry from thinking on his feet in the heat of the moment. It's telling that he gives so few press conferences.
All presidents and many speakers speak from teleprompters and notes. It's not uncommon. Some people without teleprompters veer off into rants about windmills, sharks and electrocution, lathering shampoo through the hair, water pressure, taking bleach or horse paste for ailments, aborting babies AFTER birth..........understand the concern.
We all saw what we saw. This includes all those who live in, and run, foreign nations, especially our adversaries. That was an elderly senior citizen in his early 80s who is now showing signs of dementia and sundowning. Unfortunately, a small staged event with a small prewritten teleprompter response speech afterwards is not evidence or proof of the level of mental competency required to run a country for 4 more years. What I am most concern about is that the personal health and welfare of Mr. Biden, and that of the nation, are now secondary to that of politics. JUST SAYING... PS: Many good people have dementia.

Trump tried desperately to get AG Sessions to investigate her and get her locked up. Sessions recused himself and wouldn't do it. He had stated that all the investigations had shown she had done nothing to break any laws. Trump went BALLISTIC on Twitter and Sessions later got fired for it. AG Bill Barr said there was nothing left to investigate and wouldn't. The he asked Sec of State Pompeo to investigate her and he didn't want any part of it if the AGs turned it down. Trump even tried to get Fox to promote the idea and they turned him down. He tried.
Trump tried desperately to get AG Sessions to investigate her and get her locked up. Sessions recused himself and wouldn't do it. Trump went BALLISTIC on Twitter and Sessions later got fired for it. AG Bill Barr said there was nothing left to investigate and wouldn't. The he asked Sec of State Pompeo to investigate her and he didn't want any part of it. Trump even tried to get Fox to promote the idea and they turned him down. He tried.

Look again. President Biden had little sleep between what is being referred to as a debate (which it wasn't) and North Carolina Rally vitality. It's inhuman to think anyone who has President Biden's experience and knowledge could sort through a way to answer the moderators' questions, ward off lies and overwhelming attacks from Trump and not go low on the food-chain.
