I've read over a majority of the lore due to the fact that Destiny's Lore falls under one of my hyperfixations, hence me owning all of the lore books physically. Rhulk is insanely powerful yes, and so are the guardians. But you are acting like Rhulk is as powerful as The Witness, if not more so. The Witness could maybe be a match for The Man in The Wall, but definitely not Rhulk. If he really was as powerful as you say, he would've done more than just spew out some yellow blasts at the 6 Guardians who folded him. This isn't even a debate, because you're just wrong. Rhulk isn't the physical manifestation of an alien power strong enough that it can hide an entire planet, sterilise an entire species, and completely ruin the lives of countless people that he had never even met with a handshake. But in the end, none of this matters, and I will rest easy knowing that it doesn't. Because it's a dumb comparison, because Power Scaling is in and of itself a flawed concept. So like I get the Rhulk simping, I do. He's a great character and poses a great threat in DESTINY. (Also his VA is incredibly good) However Rhulk died. He's supposedly a god and was brought to heel by 6 space cadets flying across the map with eager edge swords. You are comparing him to a concept. A literal concept. You can't destroy a concept without wiping the existence of it from every living being, every text, every plane of existence, and if even one organism knows the truth of the existence; then you have failed. As for "Ontological Weapons" you are stating that Rhulk would ever have a chance to attack a concept without entering the very domain that claims all. The void is something in warframe that is incredibly vague and has only been seen as a few different things. A method of travel (Warhammer does this with the warp, and Rhulk would probably have become a plaything of Chaos lets be real) A weapon capable of wiping away the universe itself. And an unlimited energy source. The Zarihiman is unable to be moved, because if it did, the void would have destroyed the universe as we know it. As for Wally himself. He simply doesn't exist in a real capacity. He is the void. And yet he is so much more that we have absolutely zero clue about. Further than this, anyone who has entered or touched the void has been stolen by Wally. He creates perfect copies of them at will. Inhabiting them is something he chooses to do freely. (Remember Rell? We see both Rell and Wally in the same existence, and yet, Rell is no longer real. He is something that chained himself to Harrow and was manipulated into becoming a puppet of the void. His personality pushes against Wally within their consciousness, however we have no indication how much of this was a show, put on by the man in the wall. The void itself also creates "Angels" these are considered reality shattering beings that each have their own pocket dimensions. Which are ONLY accessible with the Void. Sure Rhulk can destroy, but can he create, can he fabricate reality itself and the unreality holding it all together? We have no indication of what the real strength the void holds. But what we do know from Albrect Entrati, the void is terrifying, he spearheaded void reliquary research, and all at the sametime became Wally's puppet. I don't feel that your scaling is appropriate. Rhulk can destroy, but he relies on tools and borrowed powered. The Witness itself, a being made up of hundreds of egos, would shatter upon the mind warping call of the void. The very unity that allowed for the control and shaping of the darkness would falter can crumble. Disciples in general really are just kinda on par with Tau. The sentient race wields Tau, and is sickeningly weak to void. To the point that void energy, not overwhelming attacks, energy, causes an extreme dysfunction and breakdown of their bodies. We have no power scale for Wally and Destiny simply doesn't have something that can rival an omnipotent concept. Even the Garderner was unprepared for the events preceeding Destiny. This is also like pointless, they're two completely seperate universes that we dont have a way to scale each other to. Additionally Destiny is victim of endlessly cut, retconned, poorly written, ignored, or straight up denied lore. You cannot take anything anyone says in destiny with more than a grain of salt.

One Warframe alone can solo 95% of the entire destiny universe, because just like the operator, it manipulates the power of the void. The void in Warframe lore is a vast expanse of nothingness that has been stated to have consciousness. Let that sink in, an entire space of nothingness, is alive. The only thing we could compare the void to in destiny is probably the nine, as just like the man in the wall, the nine are omnipotent beings capable of bending reality to their whim. The man in the wall is the void taking shape. Now, back to the Warframe that can solo most of the destiny universe, limbo. Limbo has the ability to enter a pocket dimension in the void, allowing him to essentially be untouchable, not menacing at first, till you get to the part where he can banish you to, and limit your movement, the void. Besides the nine and maybe the witness, there isn't a single thing in destiny that I can think of that can go toe-to-toe with limbo. Coming back to this with more knowledge of both universes now, I see that a bunch of people including the author and myself are wrong about wally. Since we know very little besides that it's a physical embodiment of the void, instead of comparing it to some weak enemy type in destiny like the vex that essentially are just over glorified time travelers that are capable of creating SIMULATED universes. To what we know in Warframe, the void can split reality and make it cave in on itself, hence the Zariman stuck in both realities. But arguing with you is irrelevant as you think the destiny universe could solo a lot of the universes. (Sorry for edit, fat fingered send)

I dont think Rhulk could hope to kill old Wally. Think of it as so: The only folks who have seen Wally (The Man in the Wall) have had to go into the void. (Albrecht, Rell, Operater, presumably other folks who made the early travels as hinted in the ISO vaults.) After Rell stopped being the "sentinel" as the entry on his computer put it in the Chains of Harrow quest, Wally was now free. Particularly so after the whole New War thing. At a base low level, Wally is at least intangible and can seemingly pop up anywhere. Be it the Orbiter, Deimos laboratories, etc, and can also seemingly vanish in an instant. Sure we havent tried shooting it, but I doubt it would go well. At most? We dont know yet. We may see in an update during or after 1999, but assuming all this, Rhulk would have to go purposefully into the Void to find Wally to begin with, and I'd say thats like fighting against an infinite body of water. By Albrechts account, Wally could seemingly either manipulate the laws of reality, or at least the perception of targets, as he did in the Ris entry and past on Deimos. I dont think Rhulk could survive going toe to toe with the Void itself and whatevers in it. (Keep in mind the Void is entirely different from the D2 element.) It'd be like trying to punch out a sea. Sure, Rhulk can maybe tank alot of it, but over time, he'll tire as he is an entity of biology, and all it takes is a slighy hole in the boat for all the water to rush in. Id say a better comparison would be maybe the Witness. Once both they and Wally both have their hands finally revealed after the Final Shape, and 1999 onwards respectively.

In theory the void is a well of infinite energy, of infinite timelines/universes. And tmitw is the personification of this void. Its shown the capability of making deals with people. From what i observed the deal killed all the timeline versions of the tenno except 2 (operator/drifter) Who is to say it can't use this in a combative sense. tmitw doesn't really have feats. And we have yet to know its intentions. (spoiler) With the running theory that Abreicht Entraties clone (wally) is the one who returned from the trip. And is thus the one who manipulate and developed the technology of void travel and other voidy things. Thus creating the Vesels (shown in wisper in the walls trailer, big humanoid robot looking things) He has the ability to create physical objects that contain a whole seperate timeline/univers inside it. idk if this is relevant. Im not too informed on destiny lore (enough to understand the core workings of it) i juste wanted to post some waky theories i had.
The man in the wall can't create universes, and the void does not contain infinite timelines. I know that for a fact. Rhulk is considered to be beyond God's. He can destroy infinite universes and dimensions given that he is stronger than oryx. Wally is below the vex who can create infinite dimensions and do have access to infinite timelines.

Given some new lore about the man in the wall, there's still no scale to how far his abilities go. I have reason to believe that the only reason Operators can even use transferance is a gift to the void, hence why he copies our operator and says "Hey kiddo, you owe me." Another odd thing is Kuva's apparent connection with conciousness itself; what was used by the Grineer Queens during one of the quests. As a revelation, even the power of Kuva was overwhelmed by the Void, allowing the operator to reobtain his ability through Teshin's guide. As for the "body" or a representation of the Man in the Wall at the end of the New War, I believe this was their way of showing how he's manifested from the void, or he could in fact, BE the void, possibly bypassing the laws of time. If you notice closely to the body, out of his four arms, one finger was missing from I believe his top right arm. That same finger, if you go to your Railjack, is the one that powers it, followed with Cephalon Cy saying a few different lines when interacting with it. Such as "A color you have never seen, imagine it tenno" or something along the lines. Theres a lot more lore that was given about the Man in the Wall, a full video dedicated to it, but we still have no idea of his capabilities
My brother in christ, if we talking about matchups, The Man in the Wall is close if not far more powerful than the Witness, The Man in the Wall is basically an eldritch horror, the manifestation of a whole dimension whose not bound by the laws of reality, can create and embody concepts and ideas into reality like Duviri, which is the manifestation of a children’s book, create doppelgängers of dead people, and even manipulation of timelines!! (Merging every possible timeline of the Tenno into two, the Tenno and the Drifter.) and thats barely scratching the surface, as we barely know him at all. Rhulk is just a very powerful darkness wielder with godlike powers, but he is mortal, and as seen in the raid Vow of the Disciple, he was more than killable. The Man in the Wall wins in this scenario, with low diff, he can easily create a doppelgänger of Rhulk and make him fight himself.

I’m going to be honest with you here. This comparison sucks. It is unclear if the Man in the Wall even has a physical form, as far as we know he is a concept. I’ve seen your comments saying Wally is no more powerful than a Vex and here is why you wrong. (I’m going to be using Destiny terms). The Light and Darkness in Destiny are called paracausal forces. they allow the wielder to break the law of causality by having fire spontaneously generate. As if Lightfall we know that Darkness deals with emotions and mentally while the Light deals with physical objects. Using this classification I believe that the Warframe void would fall under ether classification of a Darkness power. The Void has been shown to corrupt the minds of those who spend to long in it e.x. The Zariman parents. This is something that Stasis has been shown to do. E.x. Eramis and countless guardians from Elsie’s timeline. It has also been shown to react to strong emotions. E.x. Belief and Rania’s tunnel. So I believe that the Void would be a Darkness power in Destiny. Now let’s get to the comparison. The man in the wall (full power) v.s. Rhulk (base power). Base power Rhulk is simply a man (albeit a skilled warrior) and you are comparing him to something as vast as the universe. Wally could simply drown base Rhulk in the Void probably.

I'm a fan of both games, but after playing through Warframes "Whispers in the Wall" update, I don't thing Rhulk has any kind of chance against The Man in the Wall. The Witness, maybe. But not Rhulk.
As a warframe player I see all this debate stuff as useless, but here is some facts about wally: He is capable of killing off every other existence of a being eternally and leave one to live. And just a piece of this void manifestation is enough to power a whole planet sized ship that used to reside probably over a billion residents.
Rhulks has ontological weapons to his advantage. Disciples power are described to be beyond that of God's. Rhulk also took the upended to the face, which is able to alter realities.

If I remember correctly, The Man in the wall merged all timelines into one, which is how crossplay happened. We know about this because one person, Baro who is a Void Trader, make a deal with Wally and because of this there isn't multiple versions of Baro, but only one. Wally fused ALL versions of Baro(PC, X-box, PS and Switch) into one person and make it happened also to timelines. Not only that, he destroyed other main Tenno timelines, causing only one version( and Drifter as anomaly because of Duviri) to exist. Not only that, since Wally is manifestation of The Void, and probably the Void itself, he may created a Duviri, which is a world inside The Void. And creating thing from nothing more then a thought is much more powerful then destruction.

@@2DOLLAREDITS I've played Destiny for far longer than Warframe, so trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I've read over a majority of the lore due to the fact that Destiny's Lore falls under one of my hyperfixations, hence me owning all of the lore books physically.
Rhulk is insanely powerful yes, and so are the guardians. But you are acting like Rhulk is as powerful as The Witness, if not more so. The Witness could maybe be a match for The Man in The Wall, but definitely not Rhulk.
If he really was as powerful as you say, he would've done more than just spew out some yellow blasts at the 6 Guardians who folded him.
This isn't even a debate, because you're just wrong. Rhulk isn't the physical manifestation of an alien power strong enough that it can hide an entire planet, sterilise an entire species, and completely ruin the lives of countless people that he had never even met with a handshake.
But in the end, none of this matters, and I will rest easy knowing that it doesn't. Because it's a dumb comparison, because Power Scaling is in and of itself a flawed concept. You can't properly compare characters from different universes given how different their laws are most of the time.

So like I get the Rhulk simping, I do. He's a great character and poses a great threat in DESTINY. (Also his VA is incredibly good) However Rhulk died. He's supposedly a god and was brought to heel by 6 space cadets flying across the map with eager edge swords.
You are comparing him to a concept. A literal concept. You can't destroy a concept without wiping the existence of it from every living being, every text, every plane of existence, and if even one organism knows the truth of the existence; then you have failed.
As for "Ontological Weapons" you are stating that Rhulk would ever have a chance to attack a concept without entering the very domain that claims all. The void is something in warframe that is incredibly vague and has only been seen as a few different things. A method of travel (Warhammer does this with the warp, and Rhulk would probably have become a plaything of Chaos lets be real) A weapon capable of wiping away the universe itself. And an unlimited energy source. The Zarihiman is unable to be moved, because if it did, the void would have destroyed the universe as we know it.
As for Wally himself. He simply doesn't exist in a real capacity. He is the void. And yet he is so much more that we have absolutely zero clue about. Further than this, anyone who has entered or touched the void has been stolen by Wally. He creates perfect copies of them at will. Inhabiting them is something he chooses to do freely. (Remember Rell? We see both Rell and Wally in the same existence, and yet, Rell is no longer real. He is something that chained himself to Harrow and was manipulated into becoming a puppet of the void. His personality pushes against Wally within their consciousness, however we have no indication how much of this was a show, put on by the man in the wall.
The void itself also creates "Angels" these are considered reality shattering beings that each have their own pocket dimensions. Which are ONLY accessible with the Void.
Sure Rhulk can destroy, but can he create, can he fabricate reality itself and the unreality holding it all together? We have no indication of what the real strength the void holds. But what we do know from Albrect Entrati, the void is terrifying, he spearheaded void reliquary research, and all at the sametime became Wally's puppet.
I don't feel that your scaling is appropriate. Rhulk can destroy, but he relies on tools and borrowed powered. The Witness itself, a being made up of hundreds of egos, would shatter upon the mind warping call of the void. The very unity that allowed for the control and shaping of the darkness would falter can crumble.
Disciples in general really are just kinda on par with Tau. The sentient race wields Tau, and is sickeningly weak to void. To the point that void energy, not overwhelming attacks, energy, causes an extreme dysfunction and breakdown of their bodies.
We have no power scale for Wally and Destiny simply doesn't have something that can rival an omnipotent concept. Even the Garderner was unprepared for the events preceeding Destiny.
This is also like pointless, they're two completely seperate universes that we dont have a way to scale each other to. Additionally Destiny is victim of endlessly cut, retconned, poorly written, ignored, or straight up denied lore. You cannot take anything anyone says in destiny with more than a grain of salt.

One Warframe alone can solo 95% of the entire destiny universe, because just like the operator, it manipulates the power of the void. Coming back to this with more knowledge of both universes now, I see that a bunch of people including the author and myself are wrong about wally. Since we know very little besides that it's a physical embodiment of the void, instead of comparing it to some weak enemy type in destiny like the vex that essentially are just over glorified time travelers that are capable of creating SIMULATED universes. To what we know in Warframe, the void can split reality and make it cave in on itself, hence the Zariman stuck in both realities. But arguing with you is irrelevant as you think the destiny universe could solo a lot of the universes. (Sorry for edit, fat fingered send)
Destiny universe in fact couldn't solo the 40k verse. The witness would have a bad time against the chaos gods, the guardians would get boddied by space Marines. And the orks could entirely make all of destiny null and void. Want to talk about cope and fanboying, cope and fanboy over that.

Think of it as so:
The only folks who have seen Wally (The Man in the Wall) have had to go into the void. (Albrecht, Rell, Operater, presumably other folks who made the early travels as hinted in the ISO vaults.) After Rell stopped being the "sentinel" as the entry on his computer put it in the Chains of Harrow quest, Wally was now free. Particularly so after the whole New War thing.
At a base low level, Wally is at least intangible and can seemingly pop up anywhere. Be it the Orbiter, Deimos laboratories, etc, and can also seemingly vanish in an instant. Sure we havent tried shooting it, but I doubt it would go well.
At most? We dont know yet. We may see in an update during or after 1999, but assuming all this, Rhulk would have to go purposefully into the Void to find Wally to begin with, and I'd say thats like fighting against an infinite body of water. By Albrechts account, Wally could seemingly either manipulate the laws of reality, or at least the perception of targets, as he did in the Ris entry and past on Deimos.
I dont think Rhulk could survive going toe to toe with the Void itself and whatevers in it. (Keep in mind the Void is entirely different from the D2 element.) It'd be like trying to punch out a sea. Sure, Rhulk can maybe tank alot of it, but over time, he'll tire as he is an entity of biology, and all it takes is a slighy hole in the boat for all the water to rush in.
Id say a better comparison would be maybe the Witness. Once both they and Wally both have their hands finally revealed after the Final Shape, and 1999 onwards respectively.

In theory the void is a well of infinite energy, of infinite timelines/universes. And tmitw is the personification of this void.
Its shown the capability of making deals with people. From what i observed the deal killed all the timeline versions of the tenno except 2 (operator/drifter) Who is to say it can't use this in a combative sense.

The man in the wall can't create universes, and the void does not contain infinite timelines. I know that for a fact. Rhulk is considered to be beyond God's. He can destroy infinite universes and dimensions given that he is stronger than oryx. Wally is below the vex who can create infinite dimensions and do have access to infinite timelines.

Given some new lore about the man in the wall, there's still no scale to how far his abilities go. I have reason to believe that the only reason Operators can even use transferance is a gift to the void, hence why he copies our operator and says "Hey kiddo, you owe me."
Another odd thing is Kuva's apparent connection with conciousness itself; what was used by the Grineer Queens during one of the quests. As a revelation, even the power of Kuva was overwhelmed by the Void, allowing the operator to reobtain his ability through Teshin's guide. As for the "body" or a representation of the Man in the Wall at the end of the New War, I believe this was their way of showing how he's manifested from the void, or he could in fact, BE the void, possibly bypassing the laws of time.
If you notice closely to the body, out of his four arms, one finger was missing from I believe his top right arm. That same finger, if you go to your Railjack, is the one that powers it, followed with Cephalon Cy saying a few different lines when interacting with it. Such as "A color you have never seen, imagine it tenno" or something along the lines. Theres a lot more lore that was given about the Man in the Wall, a full video dedicated to it, but we still have no idea of his capabilities

The Light and Darkness in Destiny are called paracausal forces. they allow the wielder to break the law of causality by having fire spontaneously generate. As if Lightfall we know that Darkness deals with emotions and mentally while the Light deals with physical objects. Using this classification I believe that the Warframe void would fall under ether classification of a Darkness power. The Void has been shown to corrupt the minds of those who spend to long in it e.x. The Zariman parents. This is something that Stasis has been shown to do. E.x. Eramis and countless guardians from Elsie’s timeline. It has also been shown to react to strong emotions. E.x. Belief and Rania’s tunnel. So I believe that the Void would be a Darkness power in Destiny. Now let’s get to the comparison. The man in the wall (full power) v.s. Rhulk (base power). Base power Rhulk is simply a man (albeit a skilled warrior) and you are comparing him to something as vast as the universe. Wally could simply drown base Rhulk in the Void probably.

As a warframe player I see all this debate stuff as useless, but here is some facts about wally: He is capable of killing off every other existence of a being eternally and leave one to live. And just a piece of this void manifestation is enough to power a whole planet sized ship that used to reside probably over a billion residents.
Rhulks has ontological weapons to his advantage. Disciples power are described to be beyond that of God's. Rhulk also took the upended to the face, which is able to alter realities.

If I remember correctly, The Man in the wall merged all timelines into one, which is how crossplay happened. We know about this because one person, Baro who is a Void Trader, make a deal with Wally and because of this there isn't multiple versions of Baro, but only one. Wally fused ALL versions of Baro(PC, X-box, PS and Switch) into one person and make it happened also to timelines. Not only that, he destroyed other main Tenno timelines, causing only one version( and Drifter as anomaly because of Duviri) to exist.
Not only that, since Wally is manifestation of The Void, and probably the Void itself, he may created a Duviri, which is a world inside The Void. And creating thing from nothing more then a thought is much more powerful then destruction.
Albrecht Entrati, an Orokin, knew of this entity's existence and chose to basically remove himself from that life.

We havent even seen his fill power yet but we know he's got dimensional powerscaling, has the power to end all universal life, casual reality warping, causes genetic mutations, amalgamations, and assimilatioms just by existing.
