Had Qui-Gon lived, he would have been there for Anakin and he would've helped him fulfill his prophecy the right way. He was like a father figure to Anakin and he's the Jedi the rest of the order should have looked up too. Count Dooku also viewed him like a son and admired the fact that he knew about the corruption of the Galactic Senate.
He was great wasn't he. I don't think the Jedi Council gave him enough credit tbh. Guess they thought he was too focused on the living force. Think we need some prequel prequel movies to delve into his story further! Cheers for watching 🙌🏻
Ah man I'm so jealous of your collection to date. I have this one from it's release but aside from Darth Maul he's hard to pair with the others. I have him as Padawan to Count Douku dueling in the Detolf at present until Jango arrives. Keep up the good work!
Yeah you’re right he’s definitely difficult to pair up in the collection! Currently has his own shelf 😅 just wish they’d do a young obi-wan 😌 Count Dooku’s Padawan is a great idea though!! 👍🏻

Big Liam Neeson fan and thought he was good in the role, I agree the demeanour in his face definitely steers you towards a museum style pose rather than action so the limited head movement is not such an issue just as you say, glad you have him back in the classic hooded robe think this suits him best. Amazing the figures and vehicles we are getting for Star Wars, I bet you are glad you got him upon release as buying backwards can be expensive and as you well know some pieces are rarely if ever available. Looking forward to episode 4…. wonder how it will play out in remaining episodes, excited to find out, as always look forward to more great content when you get the chance, stay well👍
I’m with you there mate, I’ve watched Liam Neeson’s career with great interest over the years! Obviously the highlight for me being his role as Qui-Gon! Yeah the upcoming figures we’re getting are going to be amazing!! Just about to start my 2nd viewing of ep4 😃
I have him in the collection, next to Obi and Yoda! Really liked the character and love the figure. I do hope he is coming to the Kenobi show ! Great review !
So glad I was able to pick up this figure about a year ago for just a little over retail. The only complaint I have for the figure is the stiff hair but otherwise it's an incredible figure. He's only going to get more expensive.
Congrats! 🙌🏻 I think you’re totally right, once the other prequel figures start arriving I think this one is really going to increase in value as collectors start to want all the Jedi. From day one I’ve always thought it was a cracking figure! 👍🏻

@@jackjones3237 yeah so every new figure should have protective plastic wrapping on arms and legs and sometimes the head/face. Then there’s the clear plastic “clam shell” cover over the figure and tray, and then a plastic bag over the outer box. Sometimes second hand (depending on the collector) you don’t get the plastic wrapping on the figure or the plastic bag that the box is in. You should always get the plastic clam tray cover though as this helps hold the figure in place (mine was missing when I bought the Emperor’s Guard tho if you notice in that video). I hope this helps.

Qui-gon is my favourite Jedi. Love Luke in ROTJ with his brass balls, but Qui-gon is the greatest.
Also, he doesn’t look down at the microphone in the movie.
I think Obi-Wan, Mace and Yoda are my faves but Qui-gon as a character definitely makes the top 5 favourite Jedi!!

Don’t think so as it was previously owned (so hit and miss sometimes you get the plastic on the figure and sometimes you don’t) 👍🏻
