- Ok. So I got a ticket for the crunch game with Arsenal but gave it to my son who couldn’t get one.
So, I’m in the running for Dad of the Year, right? Gutted deep down.
Anyway, went over the road after dropping him off.
Wow. MOK from Trent Bridge. #nffc
BHA fan here: Forest fans are the loudest in the PL; really glad you're staying up. Brilliant video.
Cheers, great performance at Arsenal, good luck in Europe.
Congrats on getting into Europe, Brighton’s rise has got to commend respect
We want to aim to do a Brighton. Great modern example and would never have thought of seeing you there in my lifetime. But what did I know! 😂🎉
eh? loudest fans?? have u been to a palace game 💀
You’ve clearly never been to elland road have ya pal load all season us whether it’s prem or champ
best atmosphere in the prem
Brilliant contrast, the peace and serenity of professional cricket with the vibrant City Ground 150 yards away!!
Guess you've not seen the recent spike in cricket hooliganism then
Goosebumps every time I listen and although I was at the match itself, this video is just as impactful. Bet Broady was singing along.
I remember the Megson days, I couldn't face going anymore and would wander past the City Ground and hear the fans singing 'Forest till I die' maybe 15,000 and slightly ironic but giving it there all and I genuinely felt sad and guilty for not spurring the lads on, I'd even go upto Wilford Cemetary and just sit and gaze towards the City Ground and lament on the odd Saturday. I genuinely hope all those fans who stuck out those deep dark days were at this game, maybe they were kids back then and now at the City Ground as Dads and Mums with there kids. Really Special times for special fans you've done a terrific job.
We have all had our dark days. I remember burning my scarfs in the back garden during the Fawaz debacle. I had just had enough and was beyond upset. It took me a while to recover from the last day of the season when we had a seven goal swing happen and missed the play offs. The League 1 days were also a low point. All that seems so long ago now and the joy of supporting Forest and travelling from Glasgow to see games again has returned. Our future is looking so bright and I really believe we are heading into a very memorable period in our history. Loved this clip! COYR!
Tbh that first season in league 1 I was 16 and had just finished playing Saturday football, so it was my first season with a season ticket and going to away games with mates and absolutely loved every minute of it as I had nothing to compare it to 🤣. Wembley last season and staying up against arsenal are definitely the best moments for me so far of going to forest.
Bolton fan here. I did the exact same with our lot when Megson was in charge. Half way through the second half of a rainy Tuesday night game at The Reebok when it was 0-0 & we hadn't mounted a single attack, let alone scored a goal & I suddenly thought "WTF am I doing this for?" Megson's got a lot to answer for.
And that was Lords...! Forest fans really are the loudest in the land!
😂
Fair play to the cricket fans 👏 thats a lot of noise for about 50 people in attendance (including players)
Over 30 years since I moved to Inverness, and still at heart very much a Forest and Notts fan. A double dose of nostalgia here. Thanks! 👍👍👍
cheers "jock" i suppose haha
@@TheRedleader01 Ouch!
Been up here long enough to get to like haggis & a decent malt. But you can't beat stilton cheese and a proper pork pie. 😁
Best fans in the country to be fair.
I live 3.5 miles away from the stadium. Last season when they were playing Utd in the cup I could hear Mull of Kintyre outside my front door!
That's Beautiful 😍
We've been the best fans in the Prem this season by a country mile
Respect! that sounded & looked fantastic. Sums "my" Britain up. Test cricket is under threat but you only get these scemes at test cricket. Dont let it go. Theres not many quintessential things left now. Respect from a stoke fan to forest for showing us why test cricket is so special.
Brilliant video gave me goose bumps
this is remarkable! love this video!
Must be a bit dispiriting being a cricketer playing in front of a few hundred people and hearing that in the distance!!
Amazing 😮
Goosebumps......
That's fantastic! Love it
Hope it spurred Stuart Broad to win, he's a Forest fan.
Superb!
And people wonder why our home form is fantastic. Imagine playing at city ground
My friend heard it from his house which is 0.75 miles away
My club 🔴⚪
WE BROUGHT THE ATMOPSHERE TO THE PREM!!! YOUR BLOODY WELCOME!!! 😁😁😁 BEST FANS IN THE FUCKING LEAGUE!!! THE PREMIER LEAGUE!!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁🤪🤪🤪🤪🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴
Hahahaha u no it
That stadium is still more full than the emptyhad
I'll bet that when the cricket players hear that, they must look around at each other, and then look at the meagre cricket crowd, and think to themselves .... "Do you know what, I think I picked the wrong sport to play" 🤣🤣
It's amazing how far the crowd noise travels, my nan used to be able to hear chelsea playing from battersea, nearly a couple of miles away.
How far away was this?
Trent Bridge is about a third of a mile away from the City Ground, give or take, with a fair few other structures and Roads between the two.
@@kc9602 thanks I’m not into miles but I understand it as about 500-600 meters. And it’s almost sounds like it come from this rather empty stadium. Impressive 👏
If you leave Trent Bridge via the Radcliffe road end and cross over Radcliffe road you’ll see the City ground. It’s probably a minute or two walk between the stadiums. Notts County stadium is just over the trent river. City Ground and Meadow Lane are the closest football stadiums in England.
It's about 20 metres away 🤣
Look at Stuart broad lol context he’s a forest fan
All very poignant with Cooper gone. Ah, such is football...
Why are they singing a song written by a Scouser?
