    The weather here in the Algarve really is something special. I moved to Portugal just over five and a half years ago. I’m an outdoor lifestyle person so this is based on my own experiences.

      How is the weather in algarve during April? always wanted to go, some good deals right now for Easter, but we have a small child so being warm enough for a dip in the pools and a paddle in the sea would be ideal

    And hell at the coast when the Levante hits, the sandstorms! I lived on a 45' ketch and listening to the jangling of the rigging all around me was horrendous. You give a lot of good advice.

    I'm from North East Texas and our weather sounds about the same except for the rain storms. It's probably about like that down near the coast. Enjoy watching your channel.

    As a west coast Canadian, I like the thought of Portugal visit in March! We have rain and humidity and cold so I think I could handle it there I think. We run a dehumidifier all year round to prevent mold. Thanks, Kindle.

    Sounds like Montreal weather, minus the ice and snow months. Your winter is like our autumn. It’s extremely hot and humid in summer in Montreal, you can’t really do anything outside except go swim or hide inside with the air con on.

    Great video info. Would you know what it's like for those of us that suffer the spring/summer allergies of N. Am.?

    • @blondguy
      @blondguy  Před 2 lety +2

      I get hay fever. Surprisingly I suffer more along the coast. Local honey seemed to do the trick last yr. I suffer far less hear than I did back home.

    I’m coming to the Algarves in February for 10 days. I’m an artist so galleries museums, churches architecture and gardens interest me.
    Which towns would you recommend for a 10 day stay.

      I’ve been to NY 4 times, but only in the summer. It was hot and being surrounded by buildings made it very close and sweaty. But there you have 4 clear seasons. Here we don’t get those winter months.
