Every generation of Yamaha's flagship arranger always debuts a collection of new drum kits, with the exception of Tyros5
Tyros 1: StudioKit, PopLatinKit, StandardKit1/2, BrushKit (new sampled version). The stereo percussion and cymbal samples later became standard on PSR models starting from PSR-3000 onwards.
Tyros 2: PowerKit1 & 2. The PopLatinKit receives a cajon sound
Tyros 3: AcousticKit, RockKit (new), AnalogT8Kit, AnalogT9Kit, BreakKit, HipHopKit, TurkishKit. The PowerKit uses the cymbal samples from AcousticKit. Starting from Tyros3, StandardKit1, StandardKit2 and GM RockKit is moved into Legacy category
Tyros 4: RealDrumKit, RealBrushesKit, HouseKit, DrumMachine, GospelAdLibs, VocalEffectKit, . The original BrushKit receives a new hi-hat sample.
Tyros 5: No new kits introduced
Genos: RevoDrums (Pop/Rock/Brush/Jazz), 80sR&BKit, 80sPopKit, TrapKit, DubstepKit, SchlagerKit, ElectroKit, and numerous revamped samples for existing kits.

I have the moxf6. This is a terrific instrument...I could not afford the tyros but the moxf6 has great engine and synth along with acoustic sounds. Thanks for this great walkthrough of demos.

Real enough and sounds better than my Tyros 5 in so many ways.
That would be a little difficult... Tyros5 has all the legacy sounds of the Tyros 2, so it can play exactly the same music. Not to mention the new sounds and drums...
whisperdancer of course he means the way it sounds while he is playing it...which means a tyros 2 in the hands of a consummate musician will sound better than a genos in the hands of a novice
A used Tyros 2 is still worth buying if you can't afford a Tyros 4 or 5 which can still be rather expensive even on the used market.
If I bought a Tyros 1 or 2 back in the day it would still be my most current keyboard today. Before I resigned I almost bought a
Tyros 5 but I might reconsider getting an arranger keyboard in a couple of years and a Tyros 2 is not out of the question as you
can easily get a Tyros 2 for under £1000. I also prefer the green led buttons to blue led buttons.

Tienes que instalar Kontakt y luego descargarte los sonidos del Tyros 2 por Torrent y ya lo tienes

Why does it still sound so good and musical in 2021? I am considering buying a SX700 or maybe even SX900. Will they come close?
Yes. The SX sound even better especially the SX900 because it has the sounds from Tyros 5 and Genos Revo Drums. It still doesn't have Super Articulation 2 but go if you not bothered with that.

If you can afford SX900, never buy SX700 its heavily downgraded its just a Tyros 3 in a new box. SX900 has better value.
@@amusic9825 That is a valuable insight. Probably a Tyros 3 still sounds better than a SX700, I would guess? In my country, the SX900 costs around 70% more than a SX700 and, thus, is more expensive than a used Tyros 4 with speakers. Would you say the SX900 is worth it?

Tyros 2 is still a decent keyboard and the good news is that they sell a lot cheaper than a Tyros 4 or Tyros 5.

It is a beautiful keyboard !!!!! But the Tyros 5 and Psr S970 !!!!!!!!!! They are much more realistic !!!!!!!!!! regards Eric
Sure, they are. Every single newer model (not only keyboard, but car, computer etc) is simply better than 3-generations-back one. But not all purposes require Tyros-5 realism (which is not perfect, by the way)... luckily for 95% of artists, where simply "idea" and "performance" make a great final product. Please note best songs are not created with best instruments :)

From 2013 to 2014 Tyros 1 Good
From 2014 to 2016 PSR S750 Beauty software from Tyros 2)
From 2016 to 2018 Tyros 3 Excellent
And from 2018 forever Tyros 5 76 !!!!!!!! I will never change it !!!!!!! I have discovered over time that it has truly exceptional sounds from the real point of view !!!!!!!!!!!!! And in 2029 I will take the Genos !!!!!!!!!!!!

Above all it gets better from Tyros 3 !!!!!!!!!!! However every Tyros model has always improved !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But in summary the Tyros are the best !!!!!!!!!!!!! And Psr are copied by Tyros !!!!!!!!!!! Still nice Sound and beautiful Demo !!!!!!!!!!!!
And then I have the Tyros 3 !!!!! And I find it more than good !!!!!!!!! Greetings from Italy!!!!!!!!

Yo tengo un Tyros 4 y no puedo sacar la demo de ninguna manera, ni conectando por Midi y grabando desde cubase

Pregunta pero luego se puede crear una canción con esa calidad? Yo es que tenía un Roland la canción de muestra era una bomba y luego yo hacía música y se oía como lata esque suena como estudio toodoooo
Si lo que quieres es grabar un tema tienes que tirar a usar un ordenador con tarjeta de sonido y samples
Hoy son asombrosos, excepto si buscas saxofones
Y en respuesta a tu pregunta...si usas ritmos con un Tyros 2 no te van a gustar los OTS casi siempre son el mismo saxofón todo el tiempo
Yo tengo un Tyros 4 y tienes que estar acostumbrado a tocar con ritmos, yo no lo estoy porque soy de sintetizadores tipo montage y Motif que también tengo
Si quieres calidad en un teclado te recomiendo MONTAGE y MODX
