The true story about how the beginning of this song evolved was: Paul/George/Ringo were working on the song for hours and couldn't come up with a beginning. John came in late, as usual, and just jumped on the piano and said "What about this?".....hence the beginning of the song.
Gianluca Pagnoni - Fair point. They do focus on the 'John' songs at the John Lennon sing-alongs. But as they are there for hours, the so end up singing most of the Beatles catalog.
I think John would get a laugh out of it. Remember, he was the one who sped up the piano part during the recording session of the song since he high as a kite.
