Sustainable Design of the Nianing Church in Senegal | The Meridian Expedition

Here is a good example of something new - a bioclimatic church in Senegal.
Not only is it shaped like a shell (wow!!) but the whole building is constructed to block the warm Harmattan winds and capture the cool breeze from the ocean in order to provide the building with a natural and free ventilation system.
