I dont know all the eating disorders but from experience, you normally wont have an appetite to eat. Sunoo clearly still wants to eat, he's just not eating by choice so it's not an eating disorder. I could be wrong though so please do let me know

Eventhough the person laughs it off on the outside, the fat comments are definitely gonna weigh down on the person and make them unconsciously doubt themselves. Knowing how eating disorders work, the damage is still going to be there even if they suddenly stop making jokes. In order to make real long-term progress he's going to have to be put into therapy. When it comes to eating disorders it is a lot more than just body insecurities. But in order for him to get help, he must recognize and understand that he has an unhealthy relationship with food. From there either him or someone he is close to would have to reach out to a mental health professional

this is so true, I've gained some pounds way back in high school and my classmates and teacher said that I should lose weight because I was too large and fat. It affected me soooo much to the point that I don't barely eat and drink water to make it through the day. Knowing how eating disorders work, the damage is still going to be there even if they suddenly stop making jokes. In order to make real long-term progress he's going to have to be put into therapy. When it comes to eating disorders it is a lot more than just body insecurities.
But in order for him to get help, he must recognize and understand that he has an unhealthy relationship with food. From there either him or someone he is close to would have to reach out to a mental health professional

Is it his company staff telling him to diet (which no one is sure about since this was never explicitly stated)? Or is it his members? The one who calls him an elephant? The one who calls him a moose? The one who calls him baymax? The one who said he looks like the balloon version of the sensei in assassination classroom? The one who said the balloon is fat and reminds him of someone while side eyeing sunoo? The ones that laugh at those "jokes"? The one that stays silent? YOUR ENVIRONMENT AFFECTS YOU!!! do you think being the subject of teasing and a recurring joke because of your weight will affect ANYONE positively??? Sunoo is beautiful. He is healthy. Even if korean fans have no problem with bodyshaming (since its basically ingrained in their brain) they should think of international fans who look up to them and copy what they say/do. They are, as belift markets, a "global" idol boy group and seeing them acting in such ways really makes you think "is this really who I want to stan/cheer on when they bully their own member?" All in all enhypen needs to do better.
Sunoo has a collapsed lung as you all know and not eating leads to fatigue and pain in the chest area how do you think that will affect him????? The members know about this too. It's already impressive enough that he's singing and dancing while having such conditions but do you think dieting no STARVING himself will make his physical condition any better????

Most of us who had a past with fatshaming are so disappointed on this group bc yes sunoo is indeed someone very bright in terms of personality and heart and they treated him like that even if they were jokes that ain’t right. For all the real engenes who actually care about sunoo and other members too: sunoo has started eating without hesitation now.😊 And being on a diet is mostly forced by the company so members had nothing to do with it. The members only care about sunoo's health. They dont want sunoo to stop eating. If u follow them you'll know they r like family, please dont doubt their relationship.
