I think whoever coordinated this didn't consider the camera angles on an elevated stage.
ATL got a jookin movement but most these dudes lack that .... bounce. It's easy to spot too. David showed more range, cleaner performance. MP3 is pure power moves, no finesse, lacks control.
I definitely peeped. It’s more like, Trendy Jookin mixed with Atlanta Dances. It doesn’t come off as Natural imo

At this Time Mp3 was still learning his style 💯 all he could reference was the Standard himself = Dra’em .. I agree a lot of his moves were like Dream’s at this time but you could also see his own creative elements coming into play.
Also, David won this battle 💯 the combos, creativity, Style & Originality was off the chain wish the crowd showed him a lil more love.
Both put on a show though and I’m a fan of both so no hate just my perspective #HUAH 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
MP3 is dope but he has somebody else’s style. What always drew me to this culture was the unique styles of dance. All the O.G. Gangsta walkers had there own style it seems like while not all but a lot of the new school jookers have similar styles. I want to see DP VS Draem get crazy off of Mask 2 my face by gangsta boo!

I mean he did alright for an outlander. He got the fundamentals down to a T, but he didn't use any animations. MP3 brought a whole Character. Reminded me a lot of his battle with Draem at "The Smoke" Draem was doing the same thing. Dancing to a classic and repping Memphis in doing so.

I really dislike that these venue holders want to be the only ones who can post/record videos at their events. Not only are the recordings worse, but less people will get a chance to see the dancers as a result. There’s a lot of exposure lost for these dancers.

The guy in the grey hoodie got that. His footwork was more relaxed and creative to me. The brown hoodie guy was more energetic but all over the place, didn't really stick to one style.

I'd say this, seeing mp3 on ig is different then seeing him battle, he has foundation when he's labbing but I think he overthinks his moves when he battles cause I went through the same thing during my first dance battles, just give him some time to adapt to the battle scene, cause he has grown a lot more since his battle with Jadyn I'd say that

💯 He has a lot of potential, but his foundation is a tad bit lackluster (no hate, though; he’s definitely improving). Once he gets that down, there is no limit to how great he can be.
