She didn’t like the second property because it felt too modern. They would’ve had enough money left over to paint the interior, put some wood up, add a wall. There are all sorts of things that could’ve been done to give it a more rustic appearance.
Truth is she could have furnished it and decorated to get the feel she said they wanted
The second house is bloody fantastic, and at 76k is a steal. It is just what I was looking for, but was prepared to pay over double that. I have ended up buying in south of France.
Jasmine should have explained those people that for a 100 thousand, you won’t get a crap. And what she’s offering is a God’s gift. Refusing from a huge private pool and outside space for the just idiotic “character”. Fools

I think this couple are scammers - never had any intention to buy anything in the first place; just want to be on TV and a free vacation to Spain; they will always find something they don't like
For their meager budget these are a steal! I would be happy with any of them. What did they expect for that tiny price? Personally we are looking for more of a country property but these are great.
The 2nd property was nice and affordable. Turn key with no need for any work. The sitting room had enough space for a sofa bed or two.
So they were expecting 8 people at one time and yet wanted a 2 bedroom place??!!??
They are not expecting anyone at all - its a ruse for rejecting the properties. They are time wasters!
what you don't get guys is that when you live in spain or any hot country more time is spent outside so you dont need tons of space in the house
Really? Ever lived in Spain? Round here we can get 6 weeks of rain in Winter. We have just had weeks of thunderstorms, floods and it's not great now. Don't buy the nonsense. I love Spain, have travelled over most of it and shit like this makes me angry. That is Not Spain, that is Barbie Spain. Come and see the amazing land, the incredible people, the wonderful houses and history. That crap makes me want to upchuck

Second home is the best.I like having the use of the pool without the maintenance.Some people are just so off.The house they want needs some work and not my favorite.
Div. Are you buying a house, which is basically a box, or a way of life? Thus bimbo was trying to sell them a box. Seen so many come to grief with that attitude. We used to bet on how long people would last , This show really stitched this couple up and kudos to them that they moved on. Hope they found it..

I live and work in Spain, never have a siesta, none of my friends have siestas and we work flat out all fucking day.
Oh by the way, the hijses are paintes in colours here in south eastern Soain, because when it rains its usually with sand so white houses would be filthy and look very rough. Therfore by painting them in colours its not as noticeable, specially if you paint them yellow.

No, No, just No Ruined place (I knew it before the developers moved in) and it makes my skin crawl. Traditional Spanish townhouse, part of the community with shops (Yeah right) and they take them to an expat ghetto. The residential version of McDonald's and plastic straws. They know F all about Spain, the lass really seems to want to find Spain. She needs to move away from the coast and educate herself. They both do. And you can get houses for way lower than that inland. 5 bed 2 bath, townhouse, with roof terrace 75k anyone? And Murcia is ugly anyway. Unless you like dust. I am always amazed that people think they have "Found Spain" 20 miles inland.

Wow, she worked a lot for nothing. That's usually the case in this type of British shows, they want a lot for their money. I think they come with unrealistic expectations. Penny-pinchers. Think about it, they wanted a traditional Spanish house with a living rooms that can accommodate 8 people at one time, hopefully with a pool, a roof terrace, and walking distance from the beach. Huh! Even 7 years ago something like that would have cost you ove $1 in California and probably the people in the neighborhood would not be happy to have you as neighbors.
I think Jasmine gets paid well...from the BRITISH TV channel

Hiya Regina. Murcia isn't really a bunny kind of place unless it has changed. My locals like bunnies. My neighbour used to let them roam all over his land and he had a a bell on the big bunny so they would follow him. At night he would round them up by singing old Portuguese songs to them. They would all run behind him and be locked up safe and sound. Sometimes he would pick one up and cuddle it and sing to it and then he would snap its neck. Life in the Campo eh?
