SO2 emissions amongst the Ohio and Allegheny Rivers | Possibly Natural | Effect on weather?

  • Dude... that might be a big discovery...
    If there is some flooding and stuff, it might be because of the SO2 in the air.

    I have been in allegany forrest, there is a huge lake there…..everywhere you look, every surface under the water , there are little bubbles

    Thank you for pointing this out! The river is off gassing, as all river beds do from time to time, some more than others, but that seems like A LOT. I do not know if that is a normal amount of C02 from the Allegheny river?

      It is a great difference to talk about CO2 or SO2. CO2 emissions occur in limestone/karst regions, they fluctuate, too. The thing is that we are looking at SO2 (sulfur) emissions, which I find very interesting.
