Clayton's final was one for the ages. Absolutely massive checkouts.
it was one of the best finishing i have ever seen in a darts match
every ton+ checkout Gerwyn Price was sitting on single darters except for the last one which was for the championship, so massive pressure, and Calyton still was up to it, he checked out those high finishes like it was nothing special...especially that 170 and 164 in consecutive legs in the 3rd set, which will go down as one of the best sets of a darts match ever played. even Gerwyn Price did not believe it, you could see this from his facial expression
Bunting, Searle and Jonny had the best checkouts by far

you not often see someone goes purposely for a double which if you miss it inside, you must split it, which cost you a dart. thats why most players prefer tops or d16, some like Rob Cross d18 or like Mensur Suljovic d14. d16 is the most common though cause you never have to split that, you can miss inside till you at d1
@@KingJohnson1985 When you MUST finish, having a higher chance of getting that one and only dart you'll get at a double matters. That's the point of my comment, the fact that hitting the bull was harder than a T20 and he would have gotten just one dart at a double anyway.
Noppert was sitting on 20 so you have to expect him to get it

Jonny's checkouts over the tournament and especially the final are worthy of their own video. He was unreal.

Clayton with the 170s, 164 and 152.. Searle with the 140, 152 and 170.. and Darius with the 156. Sick checkouts.
Don't forget about Clayton's 110 and 116, either. Those were just as big.
