It’s my new favorite Secondary Weapon now. The fact that you can destroy Chopper gunners and VTOLs with is just amazing.

Try destroying the stealth bomber with cruise missile in mw2
When you destroyed the gunship with the cruise missile the XP thing that popped up said "+125 XP BOSS BATTLE"
That been a thing since mw19 I always do it and giggle like a little girl
Just want to say that I haven't played a call of duty game in over ten years, but I'm still entertained by you guys testing these things out.
So here's the weird thing about the stormender vs trophy. If you hit the trophy directly with the stormender shot it will take it out
Defendthehouse thanks for doing my myth. Just imagine if it worked though. But now I've came up with 2 myths. One of them is "you can shoot a cruise missile down with a gunship" or "2 cruise missiles can collide onto reachother and explode"
The glass stuff is pretty cool. Makes me think that direct line of sight is all that matters for explosives in this game. I wonder if you can block explosions in other silly ways…
Yeah the little window ledge has triggered some ideas for us.
CSGO had a couple day long temporary bug where nade explosions limited to angles, like in stairs. If you were in stairs above the explosion, you wouldn't take damage, but you would if you were lower or at the height of the step. I think that IW/Sledgehammer did polish this out, but there's always a possibility given these test results by DTH.
The Advanced UAV takedown is crazy. I feel like it starts higher than the predator missile.
It is. The Advanced UAV is the highest killstreak in the air. I mean you could do this in MW 2019 and in MWII 2022 so I'm not surprised

I actually do use the ACS. It’s most useful in Domination as it can capture a flag on its own! It’s really handy for those flags that are out in the open, or just in general when you want to retreat and guard another angle or something
i just used it for the calling card, but it's also useful when some guy laid some landmines around
5:04 Fuel fire doesn't get put out by water. That's why you have CO2 extinguishers for fuel and electricity fires.
PS: An After market part that disabled fire, like a CO2 thrower that doubled as a smoke thrower would be quite interesting. Having in vision the number of things that can cause fires.
You could theoretically put out a fuel fire with a sufficient quantity of water thrown at it, there's just usually a more practical way of dealing with it. Oil slicks keep burning because the oil is floating on top of the water; however if you could somehow sink into the ocean a large box that had some oil burning inside it and then opened the box, when the water rushes in the fire would go out due to a lack of oxygen and heat (two parts of the fire triangle).
Like the details of the mics changing when yall go underwater or getting hit by a guardian :P

I use the ACS. It hacks equipment too. Sometimes through walls and levels. I've had a problem with it just not activating. Not sure why. For trophy systems, it needs to be placed down prior to hack them. Would be cool if it bypassed them.
Trophy's do destroy stormender shots but You can shoot directly at it and it'll destroy the trophy first
Extremely surprised to see that the cruise missile can counter the AUAV. That's awesome!
I think adding a sniper scope to any gun that can support the flamethrower increases it’s range, or it’s possibly just a placebo effect on my end
That glass test perfectly explains why my SAE did no damage on Terminal despite the enemy team all being below glass! They were all under different panes of glass and I did one on each pane.
been watching since battlefield 1 mythbusters and I must say the music for these videos has been top tier since 2018
Funny how I just saw the other two volumes earlier today to be greeted by the third volume not much later! Probably never going to play MWIII but it’ll always be fun seeing what shenanigans you guys get up to in these videos.
This video really exposes some oversimplified code logic. Clearly the acs, not being able to move, only does a check if it it's in range when it's initially set up. While it's probably to stop people tanking servers with a bunch of equipment that checks status every frame, there should be a lightweight way to do it.
4:45 all flamethrower fuels float on water so should just make a burning pool on top of the water that you have to avoid swimming into. Napalm sticks to you even underwater & sometimes has an oxidizer mixed in…still can’t just shoot it through water though…
++napalm is “bouncier” IRL & wish they’d implement that. Can bounce the stream around corners & stuff.

Now I really want to have a game that lets me bankshot flamethrower streams for kills.
You should make the videos with the ACS, there are a lot of equipment that it works and doesn’t work with. Like you can capture certain equipment through WALLS and even captures some kill streaks.

The Trophy System doesn't take out Stormender shots anymore and i'm glad to still have negative K/D because im busy supporting my team by destroying enemy killstreaks
I think the reason ACS doesn’t work after you move it is for Hardpojnt balance. It isn’t that you moved it-it’s just that it only “checks” for an objective when you first place it.
This is to keep you from putting it on a Hardpoint that isn’t active yet and walking away while your ACS gets the early capture
The guardian / recon drone was done differently to the sentry gun clip. Looks like the sentry gun & recon drone were friendly equipment so it worked but your an enemy dropping guardian and trying to have enemy pick it up on recon drone.
6:48 I'm fairly certain you can shoot out the cruise missle with any gun, the hitbox isn't even that small. Unless it was a huge coincidence I think I have done it twice. (Unlike in MW2 where I don't remember managing to shoot it out even once even though I tried a lot)
Yeah we actually do need to test this. In MW2019 you could, Cold War you could, Vanguard you couldn’t, MW2 you couldn’t, so I am curious to see MW3. I presumed it would be the same as MW2 because… ya know.
The Flamethrower not being able to be fired underwater but being able to hit things underwater os probably because it uses a pilot light to ignite whatever fuel it fires, so that pilot light can't burn while underwater but the ignited fuel can because of whatever it's made of.
Also realistically the Trophy shouldn't be able to destroy the Stormender's shots, but there does need to be some counter to it I suppose
The flamethrower looks like a literal png slapped into the game, so bad lol
“You can take it out, but you can’t put it in”, that sounds like Hell.
For the Guardian on Drone thing.
Have you tried moving the drone into the place where the guardian is RIGHT when you are deploying it.
This could, hypothetically, allow it to be on the drone, as you are already in animation to set it down, which could bypass the "invalid location" requirement for the Guardian
that usually triggers another invalid location. Happened in MP when I tried to place a sentry and a teammate moved in front of me.
Might be different, might not be. Who knows?
Or a teammate's drone. Those have collision in WZ, but enemy drones don't

I think it's confirmed that the actual bomber that spawns is just decoration on the carpet bomber, can't interact with it in any way it seems.

@@roopekorhonen6149 A lot of the systems in this game are just baffling at times. It's such an obvious step down from MWII, which was in some ways a step down from MW2019.
Stormender should not be blocked by a trophy system. If it is, it really takes the point of the gun away, in multiplayer and Warzone...
These two game feel like an update to MW19.

I’ve been taking down vtols with the cruise missle for some time now. I don’t waste it on maybe 2-3 troops but save it for the inevitable ks.

The A.C.S bomb drone you should try fly up to see where the cap roof is.

The ACS is my go too in Groundwar. Its the goat at clutching points.
I always put on Cruise Missile just for sweaty lobbies for destroying Gunships since MW2022
Try some of these but on the same team
the storm ender and trophy system are the only 2 things i think will destroy the cruse
the ACS also captures some equipment

the trophy system doesn't stop stormender projectiles that do a direct hit on it
Stormender doesn’t get blocked by trophy if you shoot it through a wall (have to be close)
There's another thing about the ACS not only can it capture objectives it can hack a majority of equipment
test the glass protection on the other games and see if its always been there and nobody never knew it
A precision air strike can be hit with a cruise missile. I hit a friendlies in a match.
I was this old clip from bo3 where someone banked a tomahawk off a helstorm and got the killcam with it, is that still possible in mw3 with the cruise missile

Hey guys idk if you did it but I noticed my stormender destroys decoys can you do some testing and see what lethals/tactials it'll stop maybe you could destroy a grenade midair saving you or stop a stim I have no clue (it may seem dumb but decoys I believe aren't electrical"

Yeah if you shoot right at it, it destroys the trophy. But if you shoot above, the trophy destroys the shot. It’s whack
dont know if you have tried this before but one of my first games of meat someone shot me fo 149 dmg and a flashbangs flash killed me,not the flash hitting me,the actual light did damage

Told you it would kill the Advanced UAV ;) but certain maps can’t because of the barrier or something
