Jo open interest dikhai de raha hota hai after expiry, vo open interest kyu reh jata hai. Option seller or option buyer kon apni position close nhi karta? Please answer

On 28-06-23 ...
I bought nifty 50 OTm pe delivery and after the close of market i realised that it was the expiry day that day .....i panicked alot that day....but dont worry guys if u have bought otm only ur premium and brokerage will be lost ....when market open the next day , position square off by itself....
I learned this valuable mistakes and im grateful 👍🏻

Hi...In option PE Buy...At the expiry day...The premium got zero when the trade in ITM means last traded value is less then the strike price...Why there is intrinsic value given after expiry...
No Intrinsic value..
Only OTM gets zero, you might be interpreting it wrongly, for put all the strike price which are below they are otm
I had a position of Finnifty 20600 PE market got closed on 20585...No Intrinsic value calculated for premium..It's got zero after expiry date closing.
In finnifty index we forget to exit in expiry day At the money option what will happen I am so confused
Nothing will happen don’t worry, if option became zero then that is the highest loss or if there is some value then only ₹50-100 charges will be cut and your fund will be refunded

Bhai agar expiry ke din strangle banata hu nacked ... Example . 20 rs ce or 20rs pe otm agar sell kiya hu.. Or dono zero ho gya or mai usko exit nhi kar paya... ?? Tab kya hoga... Agar dono option out of the money hi reh jate h toh no tensions, jitna profit h wo mil jayega but agar koi option in the money ho jata h toh small charge lagega bas but no tension in both cases

Sir I bought 100 options in Nifty 50 yesterday and it get loss and now i can't exist my position. When i click on exist it is asking to add money around 2lakhs today is the expiry date to exit what should i do please explain me its urgent
If you bought options then they will not ask for money, but if you sold option and your loss is more then your fund value then they will ask money. If it got exited then they will deduct money when you add money next time

didn't square off the midcapnifty 10700 pe option . Closed as itm value of 10.50.. how this position will be squared off and how much penalty will be levied
