I’ve said this on other reactions, but as a Warning fan this was my 1st exposure to Band-Maid - and I loved every second of this! It was very well put together and even the message of the song is awesome! I love your reactions my friend, keep on dishing em out ❤
They did do a joint concert in Tokyo and sung this. The joy is that this wasn't a management invention. They actually do get on. They followed each other on social media and met at a US music festival and just laughed and screamed and did what long lost friends do. You can find it on CZcams. They don't speak the same language so hand gestures and the like made for more fun. I am old and cynical but watching and listening to Band Maid just makes everything seem brighter. Social media is full of traps and Wind Up Merchants (WUMs) but when it shows you bands like this it is worth all the pain and idiots and rubbish you have to put with.
Yeah that was a great moment. Someone said we should work together and miku said yes in Japan and Mexico (typically specific) and we all knew it was a done deal. Thanks for the reaction! Show Them is a really perfect mix between The Warning's groovy sound and vocal style, with some BAND-MAID work like "Manners". (Which you should react to, at some point, or at least have on your list. It's one where the MV is a good choice.)
This is far and away my favourite Band-Mail collab. The other ones just didn't have the same spark or finish as this one. It's especially amazing considering the speed of the work. I hope they can find time to write detailed songs going forward because that's what I love about Band-Maid, but seeing that whole group of people on the stage at once is crazy. There is no official live recording yet released of this. There are fancams out there of the only time the two bands played it together onstage in Japan. I'd *LOVE* to get an official live video from them. Hopefully it'll happen if the rumors are true that Band-Maid might end up in Mexico for another joint show with The Warning in their home country :) Even better would be an actual full tour from the two bands.

Eric, I'm glad that you got a chance to react to "Show Them" with Band-Maid and The Warning. I worked with a children's healthcare system that worked with neurodivergents. People are so ignorant about what the "spectrum" means. It means there is a WIDE spectrum of individuals and their functionality within that population. The best thing for people to do about anyone's human conditions is NOT to be judgemental. By the way, I believe that Band-Maid and The Warning are the new "Power Couple" in rock. Dani hinted that there may be more collaborations with Band-Maid in the future during an interview with her and Kanami for PRS guitars.
Maybe it would be good to find a couple reliable fans to make mods and they can clean out any trolls from the comments. So glad you came back. I've been checking every day for the past week, hoping for another unique Warning reaction from you. Was a little bit worried. I watched your first DPA video within hours of you posting it and immediately subscribed. I felt an immediate connection as I was diagnosed with mild autism when I was 65 years old (73 now). That explained my social awkwardness, inability to maintain eye contact and inability to foster relationships that had plagued me throughout my adult years. According to my doctor, this happened a lot to those of us growing up in the 1950's; we were just considered to be "shy" or "a little weird". My point is that, for every troll you encounter, you have someone like me who has greatly benefited from your channel and is rooting like hell for you, because, in a sense, you are me at my best.
I hate that anyone is berating you or making you feel "less than" or that you're fake, because who are they to say anything with any authority about you and your experiences? Take it with a grain of salt, my friend, because people who claim to know anything about your diagnoses that do not physically know you are just looking to push your buttons. I was also adult when I got diagnosed for ADD, but feel it was kind of late. If I had known about it 20 years earlier. Who knows... I would at least become more conscious about it. Been easier for me to understand why I had such big issues with concentrating, socialising, overthinking... People has kind of been waiting for this meeting or collab since Aftershock 2022, when they met backstage. Talking sbout PRS. The Japanese branch did invite Dany and Kanami for a talk about music, inspirations and their love for PRS. If you seek up PRS-Japan, I'm sure you will find it! They played it during their shared stage on june 12th. I believe there still is some amateur videos around.

They already did the devut of this song at the Band-Main concert in June where they invited The Warning as opening act, the video was on CZcams but was blocked by the companies as it was a first for the participants.

Yes Eric? (one of my Navy dudes is called Erik, so I hope I got it correct with the "c"), both the Maidiacs and TWA are with you. I love the interplay between the two powerhouses of hard rock/J-metal on this track. I know fans from/of both bands would love to see a worldwide "Show Them" tour. Dual headliners in an epic 4 hour concert with each getting a two hour set. A full union of fans and some coming to appreciate the music and performance of the group that they are less aware of. My stepson is autistic, but quite functional. For those with preconceptions- open up you minds people. It's one thing to be a little cynical so as to not get duped, but to be bigoted against an individual due to a stereotype is not cool. I've had some really long and deep conversations with my stepson. While he may not be considered a social butterfly, his insights are profound. Another excellent reaction, Eric!! Love your intro sequence! Regarding whether they played this live, I can confirm that they did, because I was VERY fortunate enough to be there (Ex Theater in Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan) to see and hear it, along with around 2000 other Maidiacs and TWA members. When I bought my tickets for that June 12th show, I was hoping for some kind of collaboration between the two bands (maybe Dany guest singing on a Band-Maid song - the English parts, or Kanami playing guitar on a Warning song, or even both bands playing a well known cover together, like an AC/DC or Metallica song), but never in my wildest dreams did I expect a brand new song, recently composed and recorded, and all eight of them onstage together trading solos!! After the solo trade off, Saiki started the vocals for chorus again and she let out this primal scream that made the hair on my arms stand up! It was, by far, the best show I have ever seen, PERIOD!

I hope someone shot a lot of video of the writing sessions and they put together a documentary of how this was written, rehearsed and recorded. The Warning arrived in Japan two weeks before the show in Tokyo. There were hints at a collaboration prior to the trip. I have read that Band Maid had written the song with this collaboration in mind but a lot happened in the two weeks prior to this show.

I'd love to have an 8 - 10 minute extended mix of this. All the instrumental bits are too short. Overall, it's great. I'm not that familiar with Band -Maid, and the things I've heard so far didn't completely grab me, but that fine. I come stricktly from The Warning camp, but this collaboration is still fire. Dragon Cries is all english. They premiered this song at a show in Tokyo where The Warning joined the Maids on stage. There was a good recording but it got pulled for copyright

On a lighter note, when you held up the headphone plug, I thought of the scene in the movie "Airplane" where the guy unplugs the runway lights. 🤣 As for the song, it ROCKS!!! 🤘🤘. I hadn't thought of sassy, but it fits. Yep, there's a showdown against everyone, lol, except Miku. The bands even posted shorts leading up to the release, Akane vs Pau, Ale vs Misa, etc., with Miku getting a solo short. They have played it live, in Japan, but no footage officially released yet, except for a 30 some second teaser clip last month. Heard Kanami wrote the song, great job writing for both bands, and challenging everyone at the same time. Apparently the key is higher than Dany and Kanami usually sing. Dany and Kanami did an interview together, on PRS Guitars Japan, and mentioned the bands should do a return engagement in Mexico.

I was also adult when I got diagnosed for ADD, but feel it was kind of late.
If I had known about it 20 years earlier. Who knows... I would at least become more conscious about it. Been easier for me to understand why I had such big issues with concentrating, socialising, overthinking... People has kind of been waiting for this meeting or collab since Aftershock 2022, when they met backstage.
Talking sbout PRS. The Japanese branch did invite Dany and Kanami for a talk about music, inspirations and their love for PRS. If you seek up PRS-Japan, I'm sure you will find it! They played it during their shared stage on june 12th. I believe there still is some amateur videos around.

They already did the devut of this song at the Band-Main concert in June where they invited The Warning as opening act, the video was on CZcams but was blocked by the companies as it was a first for the participants.

Yes Eric? (one of my Navy dudes is called Erik, so I hope I got it correct with the "c"), both the Maidiacs and TWA are with you. I love the interplay between the two powerhouses of hard rock/J-metal on this track. I know fans from/of both bands would love to see a worldwide "Show Them" tour. Dual headliners in an epic 4 hour concert with each getting a two hour set. A full union of fans and some coming to appreciate the music and performance of the group that they are less aware of.
My stepson is autistic, but quite functional. For those with preconceptions- open up you minds people. It's one thing to be a little cynical so as to not get duped, but to be bigoted against an individual due to a stereotype is not cool. I've had some really long and deep conversations with my stepson. While he may not be considered a social butterfly, his insights are profound.

Another excellent reaction, Eric!! Love your intro sequence! Regarding whether they played this live, I can confirm that they did, because I was VERY fortunate enough to be there (Ex Theater in Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan) to see and hear it, along with around 2000 other Maidiacs and TWA members. When I bought my tickets for that June 12th show, I was hoping for some kind of collaboration between the two bands (maybe Dany guest singing on a Band-Maid song - the English parts, or Kanami playing guitar on a Warning song, or even both bands playing a well known cover together, like an AC/DC or Metallica song), but never in my wildest dreams did I expect a brand new song, recently composed and recorded, and all eight of them onstage together trading solos!! After the solo trade off, Saiki started the vocals for chorus again and she let out this primal scream that made the hair on my arms stand up! It was, by far, the best show I have ever seen, PERIOD!

OH and The Warning just did a festival in Poland, It is amazing, great sound and the Ladies were in rare form, Only 1 hour but worth the watch.
I hope someone shot a lot of video of the writing sessions and they put together a documentary of how this was written, rehearsed and recorded. The Warning arrived in Japan two weeks before the show in Tokyo. There were hints at a collaboration prior to the trip. I have read that Band Maid had written the song with this collaboration in mind but a lot happened in the two weeks prior to this show.
Autism heaven is "bandmaid corallium live at the eggman" incredibly complex and organised.

I'd love to have an 8 - 10 minute extended mix of this. All the instrumental bits are too short. Overall, it's great. I'm not that familiar with Band -Maid, and the things I've heard so far didn't completely grab me, but that fine. I come stricktly from The Warning camp, but this collaboration is still fire. I hope they can do more together in the future. As far as people telling you shit and trying to sound smart they can all go to hell. Our brains all have different ways of dealing with the universe and if someone doesn't like it, they can stuff it. You seem like a regular bloke to me, and I very much enjoy your reactions. Dragon Cries is all english. They premiered this song at a show in Tokyo where The Warning joined the Maids on stage. There was a good recording but it got pulled for copyright

As for the song, it ROCKS!!! 🤘🤘. I hadn't thought of sassy, but it fits. Yep, there's a showdown against everyone, lol, except Miku. The bands even posted shorts leading up to the release, Akane vs Pau, Ale vs Misa, etc., with Miku getting a solo short. They have played it live, in Japan, but no footage officially released yet, except for a 30 some second teaser clip last month. Heard Kanami wrote the song, great job writing for both bands, and challenging everyone at the same time. Apparently the key is higher than Dany and Kanami usually sing.
Dany and Kanami did an interview together, on PRS Guitars Japan, and mentioned the bands should do a return engagement in Mexico.
