Cognito is definitely a channel all GCSE and IGCSE students should revise from ✋
Thank yoooou! 😊
I don't just Revise, it's my personal tutor
Totally true, this channel is always the one i can understand and the videos are just so good to make notes, very neat!
True
Cause after watching his videos I still wasn't getting it at first but I kept watching him
And I passed my exams
True
I've never been one to pass math ever but I recently got back my GCE N'Level Examination results and I thought I was going to fail since I only started studying last minute but to my shock I passed. I didn't pass with good grades but I still managed to pass and that's all I'm happy for. This channel really helped me understand math easily compared to when I studied in school. Thank you very much!
I’ve always struggled with math and been close to failing in school but now I understand and have raised my math grade!!!
This channel saves me every time I got a test 😂 my maths teacher actually explains it to different and barely anyone understands what she is saying half the time so thank you! 😂
So true😂😂
Honestly there are a lot of different revision channels with there respective learning patterns but the way cognito shows and explains the work for the specific video is great u can pause at any time to write notes tips and personal options down let alone the fact that cognito explains everything perfectly so that u can understand what u are trying to work out step by step is jsut perfect for all revisers well educated of not it’s perfect for everyone personally this channel is helping me a lot and by the looks of it this is 2 years old and still affective! So thank u I saw this in my maths book and thought I was going to suffer but not any more ✌🏽
My exam is in 15 minutes and I just found out how to do this!? I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!😂
Same😭
Came here for the simultaneous equations step by step. Such a straight forward and easy-to-follow video. Thank you :)
I really like the way this channel explains as it helps me understand all the topics I am doubtful in. Thank you and keep it up!
We need more channels like this! Thank you so much cognito!
Finally, a video that actually helps! Anyone relates?
I recommend this channel for all student who takes IGCSE, its very help full :)

Ah thank you so much for letting us know Jolyn, glad you like it 🤩
Omg, thank you. You helped me pass some of my tests this week thanks ❤
Thank you so much for a great explanation of this technique!

OMG. Ty I've been looking for this everywhere I have liked and subscribed!!!
your learning website is so GOOD thank you so much bro you are the best!!!!!!
Hi! I know you have so many other requests but if you have time would you be able to consider doing a video on venn diagrams? I’m not doing the best at maths and I’m struggling a little with this topic and your videos are the only ones I learn from :))
Thx all to u ive finally learnt how to do it THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH❤
looking forward to the maths section on the website. Any rough idea of when it will come?
Wondering that too! I'm guessing mid-year perhaps?
it's out now if you don't already :)
It’s available now
What would you be looking for from a Maths website and a youtube channel? I only ask as I'm in the process of making such a platform.
@@stevengallagher635 if its an interative question website some of the things i would be looking for is an interesting game-like experience with an encouraging atomosphere since many of the websites dont do that for gcse level students.
thank you so much for this really clearly and effectively explained.
i kept denying that i was right cause i got a non integer awnser but then i kept watching and realized im too tired to revise and went to sleep
I suggested your channel to all of my classmates and they found it very helpful
I must say tho, the website is a piece of work! it is very helpful tho can you add 2021 and 2020 papers too?
Thanks have a good day!
thank you SO much for this video, what a livesaver
Thankyou so much ❤ my child is in Gcse board he was having problem to understand science and maths of gcse board but it is easier for him to learn now thankyou😊
Bro needs to be my teacher for all of my leasons
Cognito is a really helpful channel all the questions are done in a really easy method easy to understand and well explained 😊
You made it SO easy, i have paper 2 maths tomorrow (or actually today, at 8:00am, its 12:00 am rn)
Edit: 1 simultaneous equation came and i fumbled the ball 😭😭😭😭. Im so bad at math and good at everything else WHYYYY
Excellent explanations. Nice, helpful animations.
Hi! I absolutely love your videos! Question - is there a video for solving simultaneous equations using substitution? One of your videos said that there's a video for that but you've got 2 graph videos linked to simultaneous equations and one video on elimination. Anyways, you don't realise how much this is helping us!
This is the best channel for exams 😊
Excellent work
This is the one that I’ve understood the most so far
bro thank you so much the other video i watchde i struggled getting the method
thank you so much you explained so well
Hi, I hope you are having a great day. I was just wondering if you could possibly make videos related to history in the future, because you guys make such great videos which are easy to understand and filled with information, and a lot of people would probably like history videos. Also, when can we be expecting the math part on the website?
I think for history you just have to memorise like know the timings and what’s going on that time and also remember the answer structures.
I love this video cognito thank you
Hey bro, I hope you have a great day😁! Cognito is just the right type of channel which gives us clear solutions to the selected topics. You have really helped me improve and get over my barriers and improve to the most! Thank you so much, Cognito! 🔥😎👍🏻
Examine in 20 mins
Real 💀 (I’m cooked)
😂😂😂
Hahha I’m done for
real 😂😂😂
stop lying
Thank you so much may god bless you your the GOAT 🙏🐐
Awesome!
thank you so much for the great explanation
I'm doing this work at home when I'm in grade 6 because our school doesnt teach us math that is complicated enough. I didn't realise it would be GCSE, but I think I will follow this channel and continue with stuff like this ❤️
That’s probably because you wouldn’t learn this till you’re older, at least where I’m from we didn’t do this kind of stuff in grade 6
Thank you for your help!
1:14 subtracked is cracking me up for no reason 😹😹
4:57 idk of im just being stupid but i dont understand how het got that from -2x from both sides.
bc -2x from the right side just takes it away from that side completely and adds -2x to the opposite side
Cognito i think you should make make a video on the other method used to solve simultaneous which is substitution
Can you please please start doing Alevel content.I loved cognito for gcse it got me 7s and above in maths and science and nothing compares with your videos.
Honestly this is the only thing getting me through my GCSEs rn icl😭🙏🏼
Man this actually works im studying on the night before my final exams and this helped me sooo much like no other teacher as able to make me understand this but this guy made me understand it in like 5 mins. i actually may pass the exam for once In my life and im one of the dumbest in maths
Omg same
thank u sooo much it helped alot
Thanks man 😎
I'm trying to get into Medical school and this was great
Hi! I know you have many request but if its possible can make a video on sets, vectors & function pleaseee. Coz these topics are tough.
tysm way better than my math teacher
Yeah im finished
Will you be updating your website? On the website it says some of the videos are "coming soon" but are already posted on the channel
This helped me only 2 minutes was left for the examination
It's interesting topic
Cool
wait so on example 2 harder i thought the rule was hat if the signs were opposite you had to add and if the signs were the same you had to take away im so confused
#
Same
thank you🤩🤩
Just a quick question, how does y=1 at the start? I understood everything up to that point, 2y=2 so how would y=1 x
Because if 2y = 2 then a singular y (1) = 1y
can u make a video on simultaneous inequalities
Hi sir, could you please make a tutorial on how to find the nth term of other types of sequences?
hi, there is a video on it on the website and their yt channel
Thanks 😄
This is totally helpful, and it is so easy to understand and take down notes! Thanks
Glad you like it! 🙌
thanks im just a kindergarden and now i learnt hight levels math
Hi could you please make a video about substitute method thank you❤❤
Hello Cognito
This video is not on the website by the way.
2 min in and i love you
Thanks
i just have to say that singapore’s method is way harder than this as they are more steps than this one.
how do you know whether to subtract or minus on the first step ?
Can you do the video of Substitution method
I normaly get high marks but i get even high with cognito so tysm for helping everyone
In the 2nd equation, at '6:21' the solving is wrong:
Y - 6Y is not 7Y, it is (-5Y)
no wait. Its y - (-6y)
ok got it
sorry
How do we know wather to minus the equation or plus
Can u use these vids if ur doing higher tier
6:30 all I don’t understand is how he got 3y for the second step when he is taking away
im so confused bro. fym take away 2x from both sides i dont get it
Why do you have to take away -2x at 5:29
6:24 what if our answer cant be divided
i think you mean what if the divided answer is a negative/decimal, which is fine. for example
5y = 66
we HAVE to find Y. So you HAVE to divide even if it’s not divisible by 5. so
5y = 66
= 66 divided by 5
= 13.2
Y = 13.2.
this is a random example btw. sorry if u dont get it but yeah its ok if u have negatives or decimals, good luck!
cognito i love you
I had difficulty in it but not am good at it
What app do you use to make your videos?
fruit ninja
@@LuvPlayboi lol
My question is that why is +y-6y is= 7y
y - -6y
How is 3y-2x=-2x what
Excuse me, I umm.... didn't understand in the second example how did -6y+y become +7 ...I know that +7 is correct but I don't know how.... that's it.... Because according to my brain and calculator the answer is -5y....
Please anyone clear my doubt....
Exactly also saw that it was an error
yh, its a error from cognito, ignore it
wow
why are u guys from big classes i am in 7 and this is my dignostic test syllabus😭😭
Test today 😢😢
how is y + -6y = 7?
it's subtracting, so what we're actually doing is y - -6y but since there are two subtract symbols, it turns into addition, so in the end you're doing y + 6y to get 7y
I'm not the best at explaining and I'm assuming you were revising for GCSEs which have already passed, but oh well 😅
y - 6y = -5y not 7y ???
I do not understand example two
why did he divide by 4? 2:01
because, the oppostie of multiplication is divison and since 4x means 4 * x, the opposite would be /4
Thanks
