Kids n I went to the mall just to walk around and that is all I was thinking about is someone trying to steal my car... But it's the most fun car I've ever owned.
A couple of additional ideas. Relocate your odb port and install a fake wired directly to the positive battery terminal. When they plug in it should short out their device. Lock your hood. Jeep makes a keyed hood lock that with a little work will fit. You also need to add an addition horn because I’ve seen them disconnect it before they start. Im assuming this system prevents them from pulling the release and just rolling it off. If not cover that with a plate using safety screws or fill the heads with epoxy.
There more than one place to plug up key programmer in car,also we have installed a Neutral Cover protector, rather they cut horn or not doesn't stop the system from alerting me on my phone!!!Still won't be able to start so theres know need to relocate it♠...
@@dinodavis075 the reason I suggest another horn is because the loud noise alerts everyone including the thieves. They will likely run off. You on the other hand might be gone and not able to get to your car. Calling the police will be to late as it’s unlikely they would arrive in a timely fashion. Yes I realize they can plug in other places but if they use it , zap. It will cause a direct short in their device. Your system is awesome but it’s tech. Some nerd will just find a defeat and sell it to the crooks. I like to combine old school with tech. We used to lock our hoods when I was a kid. Easy to do but tuff to defeat.
This is definitely needed but the only downfall about it is what if you get into a situation where you have to hurry up pull off in your car but it’s off and have to go through the process just to turn it on. It can be a life or death situation.
Great system but make sure you find a dealer who is VERY good. These systems are different than the others and may require some communications with Compustar customer service to get the programming set up remotely. In FL its very popular so the techs know what theyre doing.Theres an antennae and some other gizzmos to install so make sure your guy can do some clean work or it will look a mess. Also, test the sensitivity level on your car by banging on the windows and body of the car because if you set it too low it wont do you any good.

Yes u can add a remote start without having one already,there is a yearly Fee for Compustar DRONE GPS SERVICE around a $100 a year♠Not sure about any shop in Colorado♠.

I have a compustar DC3 and one night forgot to arm the system, Ironically someone got in and rummaged through my truck and tried to start it. but even with the compustar OFF they could not program a new key due to the alarm shutting off the passkey ant.

T13 - Remotes are strictly just a preference . they all basically do the same thing . Besides distance and looks. Glad you enjoy the video and yes do invest in an alarm system to not be a victim again.

So if I’m understanding it correctly the Compustar is just an alarm (a great alarm) and the IGLA is what uses the pin code and what doesn’t allow thieves to to make a new key or delete keys?
Dealer told me the chrysler security system has one major flaw which is it has to be set up with the original key and ifyou loose it youre f%#@*d. You cant use a copy of the key. Besides that is you cant overide the system so if youre doing stuff under the hood you have to put in the 4 digit pin everytime before you can turn over the motor. You disable it when working under the hood. Hopefully it requires your code to disable it. Eventually it will become common knowledge on how to disable

Someone attempted to steal my TRX last night from my driveway, they broke the window and entered the car to pop the hood open, removed fuses to disable alarm/horn, and were playing with something under the steeling wheel......I need one of these alarms ASAP! What is the orange strap around in the plastic compartment you need to flip open below the automatic parking brake? They ultimately stole my LCD screen but managed to not scratch a thing and replaced the screen somehow...

Even if the horn is cut, you will still be alerted on your phone and car still cannot start!!! So cutting the horn is still a waste of TIME!!!!!♠.........
@@dinodavis075 ok. Good. Thieves are cutting horn wires as part of the theft process. All to limit awareness at the time of the theft. Every little bit of deterrence is cumulative and beneficial including your device/system.
How will they get the whole car? Also this alarm can also be hid more than one place in a car!! This alarm is not always where you think it's going to be♠... With Gps going off, alerting your phone to what's going on and not being able to program a key it's not much they can do..
Will locking your OBD port with a metal type of security will help prevent the guys trying to steal your vehicle since they can't insert their device to a lock and secured OBD port?

I think its better not to put a sticker, or just put a generic alarm one so they can't study the kind of alarm you've installed, remember, the less information they have the better.
I have that on my Hellcat they tried to get mime it alerted they couldn't scan it they tried 3 times it works

No, Pincode has no Fob,it's a stand alone Device♠....

Could I just get the compustar with drone n my car still be good.... because it come with a kill switch that's supposed to not work unless the alarm is turned off. ..... And just adding igla is just incase they was to bypass the alarm... wich should be impossible right?...... Just would like to know your honest report on this Thank you

Why not allow the factory fob to unlock/disarm the Compustar? Why is that a No No?

Does the TRX actually use two systems: 1) Compustar Q9 for alarm and remote start and 2) IGLA for the PIN code?
Compustar is one system with a Fob♠. Pincode is another system by itself without a Fob♠
So for the demonstration in this video what was the setup on the security system as a whole? Was it multiple different security add ons or just 1 add on that had all that in the demonstration?

Someone attempted to steal my TRX last night from my driveway, they broke the window and entered the car to pop the hood open, removed fuses to disable alarm/horn, and were playing with something under the steeling wheel......I need one of these alarms ASAP! What is the orange strap around in the plastic compartment you need to flip open below the automatic parking brake? They ultimately stole my LCD screen but managed to not scratch a thing and replaced the screen somehow...

Thieves also cut the horn wires. Also rewire the horn and hide the horn.
Even if the horn is cut, you will still be alerted on your phone and car still cannot start!!! So cutting the horn is still a waste of TIME!!!!!♠.........
@@dinodavis075 ok. Good. Thieves are cutting horn wires as part of the theft process. All to limit awareness at the time of the theft. Every little bit of deterrence is cumulative and beneficial including your device/system.

But if they got the car they can take time to take the whole alarm system off and then program a key
How will they get the whole car? Also this alarm can also be hid more than one place in a car!! This alarm is not always where you think it's going to be♠... With Gps going off, alerting your phone to what's going on and not being able to program a key it's not much they can do..
Will locking your OBD port with a metal type of security will help prevent the guys trying to steal your vehicle since they can't insert their device to a lock and secured OBD port?
Really NO, due to There's more than one place in your car to access your car computer besides OBD !♠....
Relocate you port and install a fake. Wire the fake to the battery no fuse all hot. It should short out their device if they use the port.

I think its better not to put a sticker, or just put a generic alarm one so they can't study the kind of alarm you've installed, remember, the less information they have the better.
